Republicans stop clamoring for deportation!

It’s obvious that the Republican Party will never win any percent of the Latino v**e or their millions of supporters with this constant drum beat of deportation. They are here and they’re here to stay, so instead make it clear that they are safe and start concentrating on how to secure the future.

It’s obvious to those who have been aware of politics for the past thirty years as to why the fence between the U.S. and Mexico was never finished; neither political party wanted it finished; they both gained by the flood of illegal’s crossing the border.

With a combination of benevolence and stupidity, the United States of America has become the laughing stock of the whole world. Yes, they recognize our greatness, but also the greed of one party and the political gain by the other along with the lazy inattention by the e*****rate.

In a nutshell, as they say, there is really only one answer to future multitudes of illegal’s from crossing the border and that is to recognize the Fourteenth Amendment for what it was intended. The so-called, Anchor Baby Law, is an incorrect interpretation of the Fourteenth amendment as intended. Had the clause “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” been omitted, then the literal interpretation of anyone born in the Untitled States is automatically an American citizen would be correct, but that’s not the case. Anchor Babies are not subject to the jurisdiction thereof and therefore not American citizens if their parents were here illegally.

The debate over the Fourteenth Amendment will continue until the Supreme Court once again addresses the Anchor Baby problem, or, the Fourteenth Amendment is amended to clarify once and for all who is a United States Citizen. In the meantime it would be wise for Trump or the Republican Party to remain clear of this subject until after the 2016 e******n. Huck

Even more obvious is that the right wing nuts don't deserve the support of Latinos or any other family that admits that their ancestors came in illegally.
What you are talking about, Huck, might have been wise in May, but now it is closing the barn door after the horse has exited.

From every mountain side let freedom ring. This is the America I believe in. Take away the14th amendment and we are less free. Every one could have their citizenship questioned. My mother was a Canadian citizen when I was born here in the United States. Without the 14th amendment I would be a Canadian even though I was born here and lived here my entire life. You won't take my citizenship without a hard bloody fight.

Border Crisis Poll: 64% of Hispanics Back Deportations

by John Nolte

If you are curious as to why the mainstream media so quickly lost interest in the still-ongoing story of our Southern border crisis, it has everything to do with public opinion and little to do with competing stories in the Ukraine and Gaza.

When this story first broke at Breitbart Texas, the media jumped all over it. At first, it was obvious the media planned to exploit the story of 50-plus thousand unaccompanied Central American children illegally crossing our border as a way to pressure the GOP into caving on amnesty. A new poll from Economist/YouGov shows how badly that plan backfired — even among Hispanics.

Rather than convince the American people that passing a mass amnesty is what’s needed, the burst of border coverage earlier this month convinced 77% of the American people that the kids need to be sent back home. A full 42% want the kids sent back immediately regardless of what’s happening in their home countries. Add to that another 35% who want them sent back unless their home country is deemed unsafe.

Only 11% want what Obama, Democrats, and the media want — which is amnesty for everyone.

The numbers are not all that different among Hispanics. Only 22% want to give the children amnesty. A full 64% want the children deported. Of that 64%, 28% want them deported immediately; 36% want them deported unless their home country is deemed unsafe.

That puts Hispanics almost perfectly in line with the rest of country.

The poll also shows that the media’s collective decision to, at least for now, ignore the crisis, is out of step with the American people; 81% of whom see it as a serious problem.

Burg57, are you really saying that almost 70 percent of Latinos want to deport all families with American born children uprouted and deported; some living here for years? Maybe those punks and gangs, but surly you don't mean established families? Huck

FCS, you really need to seek out the source of a poll before you accept the credibility.
Pretty much like this one does. It explains the hows and the whys and who requested the polling and where.

Huck If they're illegal they're illegal. Do we just obey the laws we like and the hell with the ones we don't? I would like to see all the elected officials who don't enforce the law get sued and locked up for dereliction of duty.

The E*****rate is not lazy, they are helpless to control politicians, just as the Democrats are. But there is a simple solution.

Just pass a law that agrees that babies born here are citizens; BUT; The parents that are here illegally can never attain citizenship, never attain v****g privilege, and if they go on welfare, they become subject to deportation. No Frills! No "Freebies!" No incidental "thingies" that the citizens become liable for as to payment.

They can live here as guests of their citizen children, only if they are supported by their own family members. Otherwise, deport.

Can't be fairer than that. Gain citizens to replace those aborted; gain friendly visitors, gain respect of world that laughs at us now.

Win! Win! Win! solution.
