Ultimately, ones fate is determined by their own efforts. I've been homeless before. That is no excuse. There are countless programs that will help you. There are no excuses for someone who is able bodied. None. I got into a program and got back on my feet again. It's not that hard. You just have to make the effort. I would wager that 99.9 percent of the people you see begging for money are just flat out lazy. Having lived the homeless life before, I believe my opinion outweighs anyone's who hasn't been there. I believe that I can safely say that I have had more exposure to the homeless than anyone on this site. For the most part, they're bums. Plain and simple. That's why I never give them any money.
