Andrew, I have said this to you before. Perhaps you do not read well. The National Firearms Act of 1934 SEVERELY restricts the ownership of "machine guns". Do you actually know anything about various weapons? Rhetorical question, as the answer would be NOT! :!:

Sometimes it's a challenge, but yes. I've had plenty of discussions where I'm the only one actually holding back on the insults. You just notice it more when I do because you don't like me ;)

Even so, I *have* noticed there is absolutely no shortage of insults flying from the keyboard of other participants so if that's the precedent, then I don't feel much obligation to hold back on how I feel. Even less so considering the fact that all we know about each other is our anonymous handles and political opinions and let's face it, half the insults on this site are reactions to political views not individual participants. So don't cry, it's nothing personal.

CH, snopes.com reports the facts; putting up an anti-anything is not reporting but editorializing. Snopes has reported as true any number of things about Obama that were unfavorable. There was email that you may have seen that had Fifty Lies of Obama. Snopes goes through them one at time, showing where Obama did actually lie and showing where he did not. Snopes is objective, not pro this or anti that.

I could have also added the UN site but it is identical to the gunmag blog, a site I figured few conservatives would have a problem with. Did you read what Fox News had to say, the other site I offered? Like Fox News, I did not find any threat to circumvent the 2nd Amendment; the treaty states quite specifically and clearly all nations retain the right to regulate the sale of arms in their sovereign borders as they see fit.

Quid Pro Quo, rumitoid: I don't have any such high opinion of the man and woman that run snopes. "putting up an anti-anything is not reporting but editorializing." It is if it is reporting on the facts as you claim, and the facts are negative to the subject of the issue. "any number of things", fine, give me just a few cites that I can review. No, I never saw any e-mail with fifty lies of Obama that snopes said were lies. Be so kind as to look up what you are talking about and give me a site. If it appears you are correct, then I will be forced to back off snopes some with my consideration of their bias reviews, that I have seen that seem to always be favorable to and plead the case for OIllegal.

Your argument that it is now fine for you to follow suit and insult because you have been insulted worked in the playground when we are kids but not as adults. If you actually valued civility, then nothing anyone said to you could force you to be uncivil. This is blaming them for your actions. You made a choice to be uncivil; own up to it.
