Subject: narrow escape for the 2nd amendment

Talk about your 'photo finish'!

Looks like Rectum Udall tried to sell us down the river ......again. The i***t needs a job cleaning an out house.

Over the weekend, we came four v**es away from the US Senate giving our Constitutional rights over to the United Nations. In a 53-46 v**e, the senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.

The Statement of Purpose from the Bill reads:

"To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty."

The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms. The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S., and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry on all private guns and ammo.

Astonishingly, 46 out of our 100 United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.

Here are the 46 senators that v**ed to give your rights to the U.N.

Baldwin (D-WI)

Baucus (D-MT)

Bennett (D-CO)

Blumenthal (D-CT)

Boxer (D-CA)

Brown (D-OH)

The ridiculous propaganda spewed by some Republicans about this UN Arms Treaty was outrageous, coming from their paranoia about the NWO. Here is a link:

Quid Pro Quo, rumitoady: Why can't you OIllegalites find someone else to run to. Every time you see something you don't like you send it to snopes, so the OIllegalite couple that runs snopes can conger up some convoluted rationale for why it's a lie. Snopes is a sycophant OIllegal cover up apologist for OIllegal. Query, has snopes ever posted up an anti-Obama post. If so, put up a cite. I'd like to read it.

You can put "snopes" out there till there is ice skating in hades.

I have, in fact, read the UN Small Arms Treaty. Have you...VERY DOUBTFUL!!!
It is long, convoluted and DOES call for a gun registry. To make sure I did not totally misunderstand, I invited one of my VERY liberal neighbors to read it. Both she and her brother came back with the same answer....Gun Registry and potential confiscation.

As I am practicing my civility, I will NOT say to you what I VERY TRULY wish to on this matter. You are still welcome at the WPD event. There will probably be scary inanimate objects there. They will be well chaperoned by responsible owners.

CH, if what you say is true about snopes.com, provide some evidence other than ideofactoid gossip. I have run two searches, Bing and Google, to find any instances of snopes.com being wrong. The best I got were three occasions, the latest in 2009, where they were not quite accurate and later updated the necessary corrections. None of those incidents involved politics. It seems some of you guys don't trust pollsters, factcheckers, the media, and scientists. Where do you go for facts and debunking?

In the instances of the UN Small Arms Treaty, for facts, I read the bloody thing as well as the supporting commentary as well as and as well as.....it took an extended length of time to sort through the double speak.

You may win on other issues, and I will graciously give you credit due. You CANNOT win on this issue.

Quid Pro Quo, toady: There you go again Alinskyite trying to change and deflect the issue. I ask you:"Query, has snopes ever posted up an anti-Obama post. If so, put up a cite. I'd like to read it." Ansewer that for me and then we can move along. Run your searches on that issue: snopes putting up an anti-Obama post.

There are approximately eighteen so-called "final drafts" of that bill floating around on the internet.
Here is the one I read before responding: http://www.thegunmag.com/un-releases-un-arms-trade-treaty-final-draft/

Here is a little background: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arms_Trade_Treaty

And here is a source I feel you can trust:http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/03/28/optimism-in-un-on-global-arms-trade-treaty-as-us-is-said-to-go-along-with-deal/

I am looking forward to another WPD soiree

You guys are morons. If you had brains at all you would know that the treaty is designed to regulate international arms trade, not to "take away our guns". THAT is an emotional overreaction.

The reason why none of the YAY v**es came from Republicans is because so long as democracy stands in their way, their only path to power is to cater to the ignorance and stupidity of the dumbs**t population.

Except yours truly read it on the UN Site. It is always good to go to source material.

We have to finalize plans for the welcome party for the Doppler and Duppler.

We may be morons, how gracious of you; however, a reading of the entire treaty would probably disabuse you of your belief that the single issue is "international arms trade".

Is it ever possible for you to not insult everyone with your supercilious attitude? Rhetorical question...the answer is quite clear.
