Do any of you remember when Obama talked about a domestic army as well equipped, funded, and armed as the Army would be needed for his fundamental changes in this nation? It was in the fall of 2008 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Yes, the media threw those words into the rabbit hole of conspiracy thinking and didn't have a lot to say about it.

Finally this past spring we got to see much of what appeared to be that army in that the men in the streets of Boston looking for the teenager who had done some shooting of policemen of various kinds knocking on peoples' doors without a sign of a warrant. This scared the hell out of me because I have never forgotten those words in Colorado Springs. All this came too soon after Big Sis ordered all that ammo and we came up with a very short supply of it.

I read this article-interesting to me because I WAS in Boston for the bombing, about 1/2 block from the 2nd blast. We were kept inside, there was a police presence that we were GLAD to see, it was keeping us safe. The police on the street were NOT some secret army of Obamas, but the FBI, people from other areas, etc. They found the perp, did there job and made me proud to be an American-nothing sinister about it. The cops did a great job, and we were lucky to have them

The fear generated by 9/11 gave us the freedom-k*****g Patriot Act and now this "domestic army," which today may be actually for our homeland security but tomorrow the forces of a dictator. We lost America with the passage and then renewal of the Patriot Act. Here is a link to the breakdown of the v****g: http://educate-yourself.org/cn/patriotact20012006senatev**e.shtml

Those who v**ed "yea" the second time around need to be replaced immediately with candidates opposed to the continuation of enforcing that heinous bill. This is the real threat to our liberties.

There use to be a time when most journalism was unbiased and tried to stick with facts, this is not the case any longer, articles slant the facts to mislead the readers and it is a corruption of the news

I think all parties involved did a great job, and should be commended. They did what needed to be done, and got it done,That is how swift and dramatic things should have been done after 9/11

Since you were there for the bombing I would think that you would have been interested in seeing some of the television scenes from Watertown when they locked it down and did all those illegal searches of the houses of American citizens in a manner that violated the 4th Amendment.

Let me offer you a chance to read the 4th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States which says that searches and seizures without a warrant are illegal. Look at my video and see which of those searches were done with warrants. You do know what the 4th says, I am sure.

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched and the persons or things to be seized."

You never saw a warrant showed to anybody who was forced to leave his house, did you? That whole thing violated the 4th Amendment and so many progs don't believe it. Do we still have a 4th Amendment in effect?

One of those who v**ed for the continuation of the law happened to be named Obama. I guess he has been replaced, though. Also, you might find the names of Schumer and Reid among those who were Dems who v**ed for it. Maybe you need to either study your sources a bit more or just take a chance that some fool will read all of them.

How in hell can you compare those two events as to what kind of policing was used on them? I think you have been taken in by the left, but maybe just barely.

I thought me did.

Something a bit different we had a hurrican bearing down on us, at the time we lived in a mobile home and we were told by local, county and state police we HAD to get out. I told them I wasn't going anywhere so they wrote me a ticket and the judge threw it out.

Now I know mine was different but maybe the people of Mass don't care about their RIGHTS.

I think that in some cases people have been removed from their homes in deals like that but it was because they had a better chance some place else.

When those people beat on the doors of people and ordered them out of their houses for them to search and showed no search warrant issued for that address they violated the Constitution, Amendment IV.

I have a friend that lives in the area so I'll ask her is she's heard anything. My door opens out so it's rather to bust in.
