Do any of you remember when Obama talked about a domestic army as well equipped, funded, and armed as the Army would be needed for his fundamental changes in this nation? It was in the fall of 2008 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Yes, the media threw those words into the rabbit hole of conspiracy thinking and didn't have a lot to say about it.

Finally this past spring we got to see much of what appeared to be that army in that the men in the streets of Boston looking for the teenager who had done some shooting of policemen of various kinds knocking on peoples' doors without a sign of a warrant. This scared the hell out of me because I have never forgotten those words in Colorado Springs. All this came too soon after Big Sis ordered all that ammo and we came up with a very short supply of it.

Roy, I believe the Presidents was speaking symbolically as part of his campaign theme. I enlisted in that army of volunteers going door to door It wasn't literal. That army has become the 98%. The US chamber of Commerce and their Americans for their own selfish Prosperity now control the supreme court and the house.They use obstructionismm to control the senate . Gods word says he will punish a government who gives charity to the rich at the expense of the poor. Woe unto those who call evil good, and good evil. The people going door to door(not unlike t campaignp)

There was nothing 'symbolic' about his thoughts or intensions, why enough ammo for 20 clips for every agent, that includes office people. Shortages on ammo is every place plus ammo has become expensive, going to the range use to be every week but not anymore, maybe once a month with limited shooting.

By your response I take it your all for what is going on. It's the same old same old. When people like you tell people like me we're wrong to defend our rights trust me the day will come when they come after you. When your left out in the cold because of these policies don't come to the right wingers to bail you out. If your so blind you can see liberties shrinking there is no hope for you.

It is a interesting point you make, liberties shrinking, While some focus on the small picture, Guns, religion, womens rights ...etc... I tend to cut it to the chase, 1% of the people call the shots and control the wealth, They lean far right and fund the Tea Party.

Yes, the American people are likely to blame the Republicans if the govt shuts down and if they back the Democrats they deserve what they get. ObamaCare is far worse than a train wreck, simply look at the decline of health care in United Kingdom

Old Roy, I don't listen to a lot of what Obama says, But its not real hard to read between the lines here, The author of the article stated more opinion than facts, To view a teleprompter you must be in front of it & the gleam in his eyes crap, Come on give me a break here, There are metric tonnes of real crap happening then Obamas spitball Army. This speech made by Obama was made on July2, 2008. Here's the transcript of that speech:
We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded.

Now take what you may from this speech, but I believe the key word here is NATIONAL. And a national security force has nothing to do with the Boy Scouts of America or a local neighborhood watch volunteer group. But it does have a somewhat relate to the Rise and Fall of the Third Reich.

Since you don't listen to I Won's words today maybe you could take some time to listen to what he said that fateful day in Colorado Springs. Check the leaners sitting behind him and wonder how many of them have changed their minds about what he is and what he said.
