Sad to say, there were not that many "BLACK" soldiers in the Union Army. Yes there were some, but compared to the VAST number of over all troops, the BLACK number would have been a "pimple on the rear end of a donkey".....

179,000 B****s in the Union Army...over 2 Million soldiers (or a bit more) total Union Army. Yea, according to KHH1 only the B****s won the war.....hahahahaha Heheheheheheh lalalalalalalalalalalal MORON ALERT. Many B****s in the Army were not allowed to have a weapon.
In the South the claim less than 500 B****s wore an Army uniform of the South...and hardly no issue (if at all) weapons.
Unlike some accounts of the War, the so called "free the s***es issue", was NOT the prime reason the war was fought....the war was fought over MONEY and that if the South cut off the North in textiles materials, (cotton, etc., ) that it would destroy our entire Nation. Further, Lincoln did not desire to see the Nation be split up. THAT is the real end of result of why the War was fought. The "free the negro" part came into the mix as a side show. WHAT WAS LINCOLN THINKING? Ship all of them back to Africa would have been a better thing to have done. Abe, Abe ol' Chap, you made a boo boo.
