He's just another example of why one might do exactly that.

Well, as you know, it was basically for the emotional, political, and intellectual rot in this country.

I think you'd have to go to Japan to be almost totally away from all that. Ignorance is a world wide phenomenon.

Snow melt for cold. Fire for hot. A long, long extension cord for the other.

Actually roughing it isn't to bad once you get used to it. You're too busy trying to survive to worry about all that other stuff!! And from what I can tell, gardening in Alaska has it's definite perks!!

I'll stick with running hot and cold water and electricity.

A post-apocalyptic get-a-way?

Yes. In the waning years of my life while I am still able, it would be fun to life like that for a few years. Well, hopefully not post-apocalyptic.

By the way, with all military in Colorado, you might aught to move to a different state!

Are you saying the military is after me?

I'm looking for a mountain retreat.

A Galt's Gulch Dacha.

No, but if someone were to come after the US with apocalyptic intentions, its not the place to be.

Ex-zachary!! And a couple other places therein.

By the way, in the same way calculus was invented by two independent math dude's, so I, invented Objectivism independently.

Calculus WAS invented by two separate people independent of each other wasn't it? My math history is pretty bad.

Not sure if I'd call it an invention or a discovery. I believe it is a discovery, actually. But the classical Greeks started it all.

Is it true that the 0 was invented by Arabs in Spain only to be lost when one of the Crusade's swept over them?

Zero was first of all a place holder, but it was a Hindu philosopher in about the 6th century A.D. who realized the impossibility of division by zero.

And that is because any number multiplied by zero is still zero, so that anytime a number is divided by zero, the result can be any other number.
