Scripture used to back the Rapture about those "left behind" are the faithful, not the sinners. Think about it. The Rapture is the very worst depiction of sacrificial love that even Hollywood could concoct. Watch the trailer: Christians in mighty droves flea to the upper hinterland to avoid pain and discomfort in caring for the least of these at the worst of times. Love of neighbor obviously a charade to gain converts. How can you love your neighbor and flea when they are in desperate trouble?
Belief in the Rapture is like Jesus saying enough about you, what about me, and taking wing to his father. At the world's most desperate time, when truly loving Christians are most needed and want to be there, God forsakes all ideas, principles, and laws about love to snatch his laborers from the field of care for the least of these to a luxury flight that flies over any inconvenience, suffering, or pain for his chosen.
