Hello, my name is Jane (GVJaneAz) and I live in S. Az., 35 miles from the Mexican border. I am a registered Independent, knowledgeable in all State, Local (Tucson), and National politics. Right now I am very upset over the Pres. interjecting himself in to the Zimmerman Civil Rights case. Who is next? Watch what you say? NO!

Welcome aboard. You will find a lot of conservatives on this site along with a few liberals but I am sure you will figure out who is who. The pres OIllegal I believe is trying to incite a race war in this country. Far from uniting us he has caused more divides than you can shake a stick at. I am sure he has his reasons but my bet it is for destruction and not construction that is at the base of his motives.

Hi Jane, I'm also a new member to One Political Plaza. My name is Bo, and I live in Cypress, Texas which is actually on the outskirts of NW Houston. I'm in total agreement with you concerning Obama's remarks about the Zimmerman case. My opinion is that Obama (I don't like calling him President) only created more racial tension that there already was before he spoke. Basically, what he did was give justification to the anger and actions by the black demonstrators all across the nation. He seemed to condone the civil unrest, when he should have been a true leader and bring all the people together. Obama, the Divider in Chief. I'm disgusted by what he said in his speech today. He is absolutely the worst president (lower case "p" intended) in the history of America. God help us.

Bienvenidos. (I'll bet you really wanted to hear that one). Welcome. You'll fine the conversation here everything from informative to ridiculous. We might start with a court case and end up with a bean soup recipe. Sometimes we ramble a little bit. As people will do when they are serious about a subject, we can get a little hot and call some names sometimes too. I figure even those I disagree with at least are interested enough to get engaged. That's better than apathy.

I was born in Huntsville, Ala., and all the Black people I have ever known never showed prejudice, nor have I. (If I had, my Papa would have taken a switch to me!) It has been quite a shock to me hearing all of these people talk that they seemingly think we (w****s) will evaporate and give them this warped society they have let the B****s become. Almost seems a true "HATRED" for w****s, not just a "racial problem", and the "PROBLEM" seems to be coming out of some of the most vitriol people on the left. I don't see how any President could just identify with "his people". Never happened in the past and all of the previous Presidents bent over backward, along with we the people, to eliminate prejudice. Mr. O has set us back 60 years. Very, very sad.

You're sure right about that, Jane. Today, Obama basically endorsed all of the protesting, r**ting, and l**ting that b****s are doing because of the verdict in the Zimmerman trial. But even before that, there has been an awful lot of black-on-white violence going on all across the nation, but the lamestream media won't report it. The b****s are running rampant. I pack heat whenever I go anywhere. WorldNetDaily (wnd.com) does report on these crimes, and they usually have a list of black-on-white crimes, and the length of that list is shocking. It's a scary world nowadays. I want the old America, not what we're in these days.

Bahmer, I believe Obama does want chaos in America, and in his line of thinking the more the better. I truly believe he wants to ultimately declare Martial Law, thereby eliminating future e******ns which would allow him to reign over us for as long as he wants. He would then be a true dictator in every sense of the word. I have belief that if society itself does not cause enough chaos and violence, Obama will impose wh**ever it takes to create one. False f**g operations seem to be his modus operandi.
