Just a recap on the state of the world.

The United States president is a radical Muslim Jew hating homosexual with a cross-dressing t***ssexual guy for our "First Lady", and who wants to buttfuck America.

The Mideast nations are becoming nuclear armed, and are at war with each other.

Radical, violent Islam is spreading in Africa and thousands are dying in the process. Christians are the main target, since all the Jews have already left.

Russia is aligning with China and India and threatening nuclear war on Western Europe and the United States (NATO).

China is threatening Japan. Russia is threatening Japan. Japan is threatening to make atomic bombs, which really means that they already have. After all, they bought tons of plutonium from Russia when the Soviet Union collapsed, and that was a long time ago.

Everything is steadily getting worse, more out of balance, more violent, and the violence is spreading.

That should pretty well cover it. Have a wonderful weekend, everybody.

Have you been to the Atomic Bomb Museum in Albuquerque? Every time I visit Albuquerque I also visit the Atomic Bomb Museum.

To actually see the replicas of Little Boy and Fat Man (or is it Fat Boy and Little Man?) really brings it home to you.

I never have had that experience but if I ever get that way, I'll be sure to go there. It is FM and LB and, really it was quite a note in world history. Now we can almost be certain we fight and die for corporations and not freedom!

Nice song, nice pics, brought back memories. I was 6, nearly 7 when the war ended, I remember the newsreels.

Trivia time... Right after the war, a bunch of captured German and Jap aircraft were brought to Long Beach where I lived and put on display. There were still a lot of vacant lots back in the city back then, and the location for these aircraft was the corner of Anaheim and Temple streets. Only two blocks from where I lived. We all walked down to see them, and there was a Jap Zero in the bunch, which got the most attention. It got mine for sure.

For those who were born since, World War Two is ancient history. For me, it's a memory. Funny how that works.

WWII was over a decade away from my birth year and CA an entire world away and something I could only witness watching Annette Funicello & Frankie Avalon in Beach Blanket Bingo.

You lived during a remarkable time in our nation's history. I got bits, pieces and glimpses of it via my parents but, ahhhhh to have experienced any of that, WOW!

I have solutions for global crony capitalism, but only the people can change this sick administration we have. Until then, we can keep our fingers crossed.

The older I get CS, the greater my cynicism grows about everything. Not that I had great faith when I was young, I have just included many more things to be cynical of.

Truly, I want to be left alone as far as humanly possible from anybody or anything that makes me feel like heck, including government local, state or federal.

Not my world any more, let this next generation sweat the big stuff!

Carol-you got it correct Little Boy (16Kilotons), Fat Man (22kilotons) and six years later in 1951 in the south pacific we tested four more at 40 Kilotons plus each. Quite a blast. Good Luck America !!!
