I feel compelled to make this statement. Hopefully, people understand health insurance does not equate to health care. They are very different. One is plain apples and the other is Waldorf Salad.

Health insurance is doing better under obamacare and health care is about the same despite the prediction that there'd be rationing. I think a change in strategy is inevitable such as a tax break for the non subsidized

We have been paying for health care in emergency rooms for anyone who did not have insurance. This is a step in the right direction.

I cannot wholly agree as to care being the same. I have heard, but cannot confirm, that rural areas are worse now then previously. Smaller hospitals have been closing, leaving many with no source of care at all. If memory serves, the closings are due to onerous regulations about re admittance numbers.
I do know in my area people are less concerned about seeing
their doctor as there are about a dozen new "urgent care" facilities. Based on our family experience with such, they are a better choice. It is one stop shopping; triage, doctor, x-Rays, blood work and prescription all under one roof. Seven days a week from 7:00AM till midnight. The wait is not very long either.
A conservative value that even libs can agree with is individual responsibility to pay something. Even when they are getting a handout like a subsidy from the large pool of taxpayers, they are still paying something instead of redistributing the entire cost onto the smaller pool of paying hospital patients and insurers.

According to a study by the hospital association, about three months ago, emergency room visits have
NOT declined as expected.
Yes the free market of rural hospitals can not exist without Medicare expansion which was not expanded in many states. Everyone knows the Urgent Care facility is much cheaper copay than an ER and that's where the market shifted, even before obamacare. For those with insurance, it's written on the insurance card.

It will lead to rationing if it stays in effect long enough,
when they run out of other peoples money.
That is the way the c*******ts do it, and we are going too be in the same sinking boat.

moldyoldy, need to take two steps back and start over, get rid of this load of garbage the Emperior in our white house has got the whole system in worse shape than before his so called, patiant protection and affordable care act. It's all based on LIES, has made a mess that needs to be cleaned up
Let the private sector do it. We sure don't need socialized medicine (c*******m) in this Country. And that is what Obama is working on doing.
With the Govenment in charge works good until it runs out of other peoples money, than it don't work.

So what ? The thing to know is if more visitors now have insurance.

The A C A is the worst thing that has ever been concocked by a bunch of liars. It is fit for nothing, call it insurance,(NOT) when U have to pay, $5,000.00 -$6,000.00, deductables that my frind is not insurance for a lot of people. The A C A is only good for a catastrophic accident, when it would cost hundreds of thousands then it would be worth paying premunims for a catastrophic policy. But for all the other things it hasn't helped anyone. If U don't meet the deductable in that year, U must start over, so what good is it to say I have insurance unless something real bad should happen?
This patiant protection, and affordable care act was only democrats v****g 4 it to pass it, and of course GRUBER, was nothing but LIES.
If U like your doctor U can keep your doctor,(PEROID)
If U like your insurance policy U can keep your insurance policy.(PEROID) Most households WILL save $2,500.00 per. year on insurance preminums(WRONG)-BIG LIE!!!!!!!! Nothing he said was true, but when he got caught he said oh I misspoke, that is what I call a LIE(PEROID) What I should have said is if your insurance policy don't meet the new standerds U MUST buy a new policy at more coast.
Now what do U think of that bunch of LIES. He is a liar and the t***h is not in him.(PEROID)
