Very interesting. One of the problems I have with liberals is that they honestly believe that if you love someone you do not even tell them what they are doing is wrong. So trying to help them do the right thing is automatically "h**eful"

So true, so true. It's as though their concept of "love" is to never confront wrong but to always excuse it and even, very often, to accept it.

Excellent point and you are right. Very dangerous. Along a similar line, Obama is for granting ex-felons the right to v**e after probation, and given that, who are they likely to v**e for in an e******n? Yet denying them the right to v**e puts about four million people in limbo, outside a chance to once again be part of society. And another forty million family members, or better, questioning government policy. A r*******n brewing?
Again, very good points. Why? Because as with labor unions, women's rights, desegregation, and a number of other issues, only the C*******t party were offering possible solutions or protesting the injustices. They were definite wrongs that need to be righted but our government and societal thought of the day found it too progressive or idealistic. Social Darwinism ruled the day. Survival of the fittest the natural order. And who were the fittest? Back then it was the successful Capitalist, no matter how cruel and unusual he was to American workers.
