Somebody told you it was bad, the 1960s was a time of radicals, most of them turned out to be you, today. Thought evolves, the conservatives want to go back to 1776. That was a different world, with 13 colonies. We can not go backwards now, the future is forward.

Following Obama the future will be a disaster, but you are too blind to see it.

Hello Tork I think Moldy is in love with the concept of free medical care. He, however, does not understand that the delivery of that care is going go be equal to the concept of a free market economy. A FME will always deliver the answer to the need in the name of profit. Government intervention distorts the FME and a different result will occur. That result is poor administration and deliverance of healthcare.

1776 created the greatest country on earth. Moldyoldy is still a nonbeliever. He wants to destroy the very principals that made this country great. What he calls progressivism does not look good for the survival of the country. He wants to create the ultimate utopian society that has be tried and failed throughout history. He is so ignorant that his ideology has failed time and time again. Stupidity is demonstrated by trying to do the same thing over and over hoping for a different result. Moldyoldy, welcome to Stupid Village. Your residence fits well here in.

Isn't it ironic. The Insurer is protected against loss by tax dollars. Doctors, patients and tax payers get screwed.
Sounds like a typical liberal game plan.

This has been formulated by a group of democracy hating liberals who constantly lie about everything including their caring for the common man. Lies lies lies.

I am s**k of hearing all the mealy mouthed nonsense from 5 posters on here but guess what, I am not going anywhere.
Dirtbags.

Whether or not Obamacare was designed to offset costs by dumping them back on the insurance companies, that is exactly what it does.

Any company facng increased operating expenses will pass that on to the consumer. Basic economics. This law does not work. It must be repealed and if ntl. healthcare is ever going to work it must be well thought out BEFORE being passed.

I am really disgusted with both sides of the aisle. Both sides automatically walk all over and throw away any thoughts or suggestions from the other side as if the opposition never has any valid view on anything. How many good workable plans have been trashed just because the opposition refuses to even consider something from their political oppomenrs? Again, all DC politicians need to go and be replaced with someone with ears.

You might want to look at the GOP, for protecting all corporations, at the expense of the public.

Deflection. Different subject. This is healthcare but I expected this from you and a few others.

This attempt at finger pointing your way out of this will not work.

Not protected, but saved the jobs of thousands, and allowed the company to rebound.

That one isn't from Obamacare. That one is on the patient who signed the insurance plan. Your best friend was supposed to get a notification that it will no longer be covered along with an explanation of an appeal process such as a phone number to call seeking an appeal. Usually the prescribing doctor has to write an appeal why the script is medically necessary as opposed to the medicine insurance wants to pay for. Your friend can still get the medicine. No one in the government is stopping your friend from buying it now and submitting an appeal later.

If more uninsured signed up for Obamacare, insurance companies wouldn't have an excuse to stop paying for drugs to save money.

My best friend is suffering from stage three COPD. One of the medications he was using to control it is no longer covered by his insurance provider, because it's too expensive. He has been having severe difficulty breathing as a result. His doctors are trying to find something else that works, but after trying two different medications that do absolutely nothing for him, it's not looking good. So, could someone please tell me why Obamacare is so wonderful? I must have missed something.

WASHINGTON — The movement of American factory jobs and white-collar work to other countries is part of a positive t***sformation that will enrich the U.S. economy over time, even if it causes short-term pain and dislocation, the Bush administration said yesterday.

The embrace of foreign "outsourcing," an accelerating trend that has contributed to U.S. job losses in recent years and has become an issue in the 2004 e******ns, is contained in the president's annual report to Congress on the U.S. economy.

"Outsourcing is just a new way of doing international trade," said N. Gregory Mankiw, chairman of Bush's Council of Economic Advisors, which prepared the report. "More things are tradable than were tradable in the past. And that's a good thing."

The report, which predicts the nation will reverse a three-year employment slide by creating 2.6 million jobs in 2004, is part of an effort by the administration to highlight signs that the recovery is picking up speed. Bush's economic stewardship has become a central issue in the p**********l campaign.

In his message to Congress yesterday, Bush said the economy "is strong and getting stronger," thanks in part to his tax cuts and other economic programs. He said the nation had survived a stock-market meltdown, recession, terrorist attacks, corporate scandals and war in Afghanistan and Iraq, and it was finally beginning to enjoy "a mounting prosperity that will reach every corner of America."

The president repeated that message during an afternoon "conversation" on the economy at SRC Automotive, an engine-rebuilding plant in Springfield, Mo., where he lashed out at lawmakers who oppose making his tax cuts permanent.
