No I won't blame it on them as they fought and died for this country. My generation (I was born in 1943) is where I would lay most of the blame if there is any blame to lay. This the generation that lived through the drug influx and the free love (sex) years of the fifties and sixties, This is the generation that although they had the home life and education did not stop this life style but instead a lot of the teens embraced it. This in turn allowed for more liberal teachers to be brought in with little or no resistance into the high schools and colleges of that era. Today we are seeing the end results of the liberal teachers and the dumbing down of America by the left. As Khrushchev said as he was banging his shoe on the table that they would destroy us from with in and we ignored his threat. Today we see the fruition of his threat in our own children and the society at large. We see a society that doesn't know the Pacific ocean from the Atlantic. It doesn't know who the vice president is. The list goes on for a long time all one has to do is watch Walters world on O'Riley to see our fine public that is literally brain dead from these teachers. The big question is where do we go from here.

I was born in 1939, my dad had a job considered important to the war effort so he was not drafted so he raised us kids as he was raised as we all were as I think most born before 1955 after that things started to go down hill, of course living out in the country we didn't have contact with the city kids til we were in high school

That reminds me of these guys setting in prison. They had all heard the same jokes over and over. They decided in order to save their voices that they would just number the jokes.

One prisoner yelled 49, they all rolled on the floor laughing. Another soon yelled 15, again they all laughed and held their stomachs. The next gut yelled 22, silence not one laughed. The new guys asked why no one laughed, one guy says, thats the only joke he knows and it has never been funny.
