Don't ask me why, but I think this article was the Administration's canary. Toss out a fact, see how it is received, get the mindless masses (us) to begin adapting to life as it will be in the future.

I think everyone should expect Obama to never leave the office voluntarily. The time limit is set in cement - he comes out of the closet before the next e******n, or ? He and his cronies are in so deep, they don't dare leave to become average citizens who might wind up in prison. I sincerely believe this. He loves jerking everyone around - it's his "high" every day. Not going to leave it unless his handler has a different goal in mind.

Yankee Clipper: I too have served this Country in combat. I have lived by a code / principle etc.. If we continue to piss on Rule of Law; we had better pack it in and go third world! We are not holding our leaders accountable - we will pay a supreme price for this action.

As J. C Watts said:

Polls measure feelings - not steadfast principle
Polls condemned the Ten Commandments
Polls condemned women’s rights
Polls embraced S***ery

What we need to do in this Country is draw a line
in the sand and separate right from wrong - not that
it is the right thing to do - but more importantly that
our children can see and understand it.

Just one minor point of correction:

"He can be arrested for being an usurper to the office tried and then hung along with all those who made this fraud on the nation possible."

People are "hanged" and pictures are "hung", for future reference :)

I was talking about being hung and left to rot after he would be hanged for treason. I believe we have both used key words from the NSA's list of key words. Does that BS cover my ass?

Magnus frater Spectat!

PS, to NSA, DoJ, FBI, DHS and any other government entity who may be reading this, mind eigin fyrirtæki þitt and of course, Ascendo Tuum!

You may be right, but my dictionary defines the word "hung" as the past tense and past participle of "hang," and "hang" as " ... 3. To put to death on a gallows, cross, etc., especially by suspending the victim by the neck with a noose ... " "Hanged" is an acceptable alternative spelling.

I'm afraid too many people are not going to wake up in time to take action. By the time they realize their God-given rights have been all but abolished and cry out in anguish they will be powerless to do anything about it.

This is how freedom dies when people are told a beautiful lie and not question it. The price of losing this republic will be too high and generations yet unborn will suffer for it.

God will intervene in his own time and I hope by his mercy we can reclaim the idea of America before the progressives destroy it completely. There is no greater evil when good men stand aside and allow evil men do evil upon others.

This is one of the best name calling Alinsky method posts I have seen in some time. Do you fail to notice that you do use plenty of name calling crap with nothing at all to back any of it up. If not maybe you need to read before you type, just in case.

I believe Jefferson didn't go far enough. The greatest danger isn't a government that ignores the Constitution since we know the nature of the beast and expect it to thumb its nose to being limited. The greatest danger is an e*****rate which won't keep the government playing by the established rules due to ignorance, apathy and/or indoctrination.

Ask a high school grad or someone going into college, "Do you know what the Bill of Rights is?"

Don't be too shocked to hear, "I dunno. It's about 100 bucks, isn't it?"

I heard 2/3 of adults in a past survey didn't know we have three branches of government. By the same ratio, young people entering college couldn't tell you when the Civil War was within 50 years. We can't expect to remain free and hold government accountable if this kind of fact-free education is accepted.

If parents want to make a good start on reversing this trend, may I suggest reading "The 5000 Year Leap" with your teenage student and discuss what you have learned from each new concept. Both of you will get a much greater appreciation for our founding and the principles our Framers employed when crafting our nation. To do otherwise is to accept tyranny for your children.
Thank you for your kind reply. br br I believe Je... (show quote)

Back about 2006 I read a report about a test of college students that showed that in many colleges, students actually knew less about these things as seniors than they did as freshmen. Some of the colleges that turned out that way were UC Berkley, Harvard and other Ivy schools, and mostly east coast schools other than these. Many of the schools did not require any course work on government or history.

Maybe God is waiting for our intervention to see if we are worthy of keeping our freedom.

American history is no longer being taught in schools because it is politically incorrect.
