Most of the people are fleeing horrible situations in their home countries. They are no different from the Irish in the 19th century, fleeing English oppression and the potato famine. Some Irish immigrants from the 20th century were actual criminals in their home country. Ever hear of the Molly McGuires?

Try to have some compassion for people less fortunate than yourself.

We did get high speed cable from the bipartisan Infrastructure Act since we live in a rural area although we had access to regular cable from Spectrum and other choices beforehand.

Did I say we weren't? The human beings - including pregnant women, children and toddlers - that your governor shipped north in the middle of winter with no warning - were taken care of, but none made it to our county, though our ALL REPUBLICAN County Board and Administrator v**ed to allow them in if needed.

Apparently we were too far away or too rural.

When my ancestors came to America during the Potato Famine, they were refused entry into the port of Boston and had to go to Montreal instead. My family has never forgotten that. I see something similar to bussing people out of Texas.

The potato famine was something people had no control over but the millions crossing our border illegally have the ability to come together to change the wrongs in their countries!! The ones coming here are not starving like the Irish were and thousands of Irish came here legally through ports of entry like Castle Garden or went to Canada!! You have the nerve to talk about the less fortunate as you support a party that puts the less fortunate in THIS country last!!!
