I have heard that some people want the supreme court to rule on birth control. If birth control was banned, I doubt the Republicans would win any e******ns for years. All women between 16 and 45 or so, use birth control unless they are trying to get pregnant.
Don't think this far out. There are only two justices that aren't Catholic.

According to fact checkers galore this is a steaming heap of s**t.

Yesterday on either CNN, to MSNBC, a commentator said that Justice Alito, and Justice Thomas would like to bring a case to court in which they would like to judge the constitutionality of birth control. I don't know if this is true or not, but it is the extreme position of some pro life believers.
Has anybody heard anything about this?

=============

SC must prioritize solving the massive problems of this country at present. Donald Trump, the former president and now running for p**********l e******n, and all his constitutional rights are taken away by the Marxist. Along with all the Republicans who support him.

America, do you want your country to be under tyranny of Marxism? We have been under that condition since 2009. It started gradually, and now almost in full implementation of Marxism. This is only applied to all Republicans. Democrats-Marxist are free to abuse. And they don't have any shame, or morals to feel shame!

CNN stays away from facts.

God forbid that a teen girl being raped by her father be allowed access to birth control without his consent.

We get your convoluted logic Nimrod. Give that young girl birth control so that at least she doesn't have to worry about getting pregnant while her father continues to rape her. Good grief!

You have no worries. Is there a constitutional right to birth control? No, there is not. If the Supreme Court makes that rational ruling will that make birth control illegal? No, it will not. There are millions of things for which there is no constitutional right and which are freely and legally available. The Supreme Court can only rule on such a case if someone brings a case before SCOTUS that wrongfully claims there is a constitutional right to birth control (or root beer or chewing gum or working on crossword puzzles). SCOTUS then has a constitutional responsibility to examine the constitution to see if that right exits in it and then rule yay or nay.

Depending on one's position birth control can mean preventing pregnancy or it can mean preventing the unborn child from being born. It can also involve giving birth control products to minors without parents consent.

Liberty, As I understand it, Birth control is all about preventing an egg to become fertilized, meaning I don't think that preventing minors from obtaining birth control devices or medication is a good idea. From my experience, as a teacher, kids would never tell their parents that they are sexually active. This could lead to a lot more pregnant teens. If birth control meds are used, there can be no conception, hence no death of an unborn baby.

My first thought. They bring up issues just to stir the pot.

Since the USSC ruling, it’s up to each state to make their own (collective) wishes known and put into law in their states.
