Not a global flood, but there is geological evidence of a large flood in the Black Sea around 5,600 BC.

The alleged flood didn’t seem to inconvenience the Egyptians who we’re building their pyramids at the time.

This is all speculation based on sediments scientists discovered around the Black Sea. Lets us assume for giggles it is true. The time lines work. If a major flood happened in 5,600 BC, in the Black Sea area, that still leaves several thousand years until 2670 BC when the Step Pyramid began the Pyramid building era. Also I don't know whether the 5,600 BC flood reached Egypt.
