I agree about the teachers doing the teaching. Not only do buildings not teach, but school boards and school administrators do not teach.
I do think we should have one set of goals that we teach, after all, doesn't a child in California need to know the same information as a child in Alabama?


Exactly ! All schools should teach the basic same things all over the U.S.

As to your friend, how did the school board or teachers union have an effect on a youth facility?

Did a conservative authorize to purchase a neon sign for the front of the school which cost thousands of dollars?
Did a conservative authorize to purchase a new concession stand for the ball fields (Outside) which cost $80,000.00 and tear down the old one?
And how about the million dollar pools being installed?
How many new teacher's would this money paid for?
It's all about one school out doing another on amenities that have no direct effect on what is being learned and taught.

And do conservatives require that t*********r students be able to use either rest room in school? Do they require teaching about gay marriage? These are just a couple of things your "conservative" school boards do in California, skott. And we wonder why the kids aren't learning anything.
