[quote=LogicallyRight]I think the center is midway between the right and left. And the further the left goes left, the further the center goes left. But more people then tend to be right. And that is how the political winds blow and the pendulum swings.
But after obama and now biden, the pendulum has swung to far left and needs a major correction. Hence, one of the reasons for the current over zealousness of the right and those that love Trump, to bring things back to center or better yet, slightly right of center to overcome the l*****t fanatics and would be dictators and advocates of c*******m and One World Order.
And those are true evils that the left will learn to h**e once it is installed and they become s***es to the bureaucracy of that system and its various hybrids, between N**is and Marxists.

Although this is correct, go to everything and move it more to the right, then figure out wat is middle. That over-zealousness is why I became an independent.

So it is a "mean" rather than an "average" with no fixed point? Makes sense. That would explain Elon Musk's position remaining the same but his political affiliation changing. But, doesn't that make it nearly impossible to define what a moderate is by policy since it is fluid and ever changing? I suppose that means that what is considered extremist today could become moderate in the future or that a moderate on either side is simple not an extremist on either side. At least until an extreme becomes the new normal.
So it is a "mean" rather than an "a... (show quote)

Right you are. What you wrote and what I wrote should be blended together. It is closer to reality that most peoples opinions.

The Republicans have driven the country into very much into the far right, where Democrats haven't really changed their positions in ages. So the center is now much more conservative than it was 20 years ago.

>>>You never seem to get it right. The democrats have driven the country very much into the far left, while Republicans haven't really changed their positions in ages. So the center is now much more marxist/c*******t/socialist than it was 20 years ago.

I don't v**e party. But the democrat choices I have, on the b****ts I get, are so far left of center and actually criminal to ever be considered.

There are over-zealous extremists in both parties. Personally, I believe the over-zealous on the right are a small minority while the over-zealous on the left are a very large majority and extremely far left. This occurred when the c*******t party decided to quit trying to win e******ns in America and joined the democrat party. They now disguise themselves as progressives and are taking the democrats far to the left while selling out America and trying to turn America into a Marxist dictatorship as their final goal.

Same here. The only moderate democrats who I v**ed for were a few Governors in the past and one Congressional representative before he went over to the dark side and v**ed for Obama's policies. I have supported some Independent and Libertarian P**********l candidates in the past.
