It is fraud when the value given in loan applications is falsely high and for taxes is falsely low. These are not a few percentage points of inaccuracies but huge discrepancies that were known to be false. The victims of the fraud are the taxpayers and businesses in New York who play by the rules.

Of course Kevyn comes up with a fantasy such as this. His only criterion is whether it damages Donald. J. Trump, Republicans, Christians and conservatives.

There is no way, the citizens and other businesses suffered financially in the amounts sought by this disgrace of an AG. Further, even if he did intentionally err in his estimates, it is absolutely certain that hundred, likely thousands, or millions of others have done the same and far worse. Someone should demand investigations of the financial dealings of Alvin Bragg, Letitia James and George Soros.

I find it hard to understand the governments position. They say he defrauded banks by over valuing his properties and net worth. But the banks aren't complaining. Huh. They gave him loans based on what they evaluated his net worth to be after getting his opinion, his companies abilities to finish the job and pay back the banks, and how they evaluated Trump in getting the job done on time and paying back the banks on time. He did and they also evaluated this factor in their evaluations of their loans to him and his companies.

Many of us have bought homes and cars. The seller puts out a price. (Possibly over valuating). But if someone walks in and pays that price, was it over valuating? The buyer valued it as that much and maybe more, and bought it. If the buyer offers a lower price, that is the opening of negotiations. Maybe he can get it for less and some extra concessions.

That is all Trump was doing in valuating his net worth on the high end and hoping for an agreement from the banks as to that valuation. They analyzed all the data Trump provided and then investigated his net worth themselves. They they evaluated Donald Trump and his reputation to pay back the loans on time. Trump had a record of finishing projects for less money and before deadlines. They trusted this and added it to their evaluations and gave him the loans. They say their was no fraud.

Who the hell is this dam democrat Judge and democrat DA, with no experience in borrowing money to build hotels, etc, to say there was fraud, and even prejudge the trail before it even started. It is all based on hatred and politics, plain and simple. They should both loose their jobs over this injustice and she should be investigated for funneling money to her F buddy.

Exactly , I’m a realtor and it’s the bank that should be held responsible! People don’t do the appraisals, banks do!

Leticia S**t James is herself overvalued. She thinks her value is priceless while her real value is around zero. She should be imprisoned for impersonating a banker and stripped of any credentials that she currently has.

I personally think Ms. James should pay attention to the investigations and legal woes she'll probably have soon.

I'm just wondering if the bank executives are going to start a war pretty soon. James is trying to take away major profits from them.

The BS is he fixed companies.

Many of his business ventures did not live up to the hype but his most financially rewarding bankruptcies involved Casinos.

He built casinos, screwed over the vendors, loaded the business with personal debt and then bankrupted the business due to incompetent management.
He saved having pay his debts.

The story from the other side.

So?

A not uncommon occurrence in the business world.

Of course, given your predilection to fabricate and post half-t***hs, you rant is highly suspect.

I am surprised that you are only referring to it as highly suspect.

The condensed versions of a caper does tend to have half-t***hs due to its brevity.

I've always thought that corporations bought distressed companies, declare bankruptcy on that company and then either fold them into the corporations or restructure them and sell at a profit.

Simplistic terms of course

Everytime one goes to sell or refi their home - the value of their home is 99% of the time what they believe it’s worth - it is up to the lending facility to determine asset value against loan value - that’s what banks do - the one example that comes front and center is the value of Marlago - the judge being ignorant of real estate values - not even in his area put a price on it as 18 million dollars - experts have valued it at a minimum around 5 to 600 million - if you were to take the exact same house build it in Cal. - one in Nee York and one in Arkansas - it would be valued at three different values - all this Da and the Judge did was invent a crime that isn’t there - it really doesn’t make any difference as they both are hell bent on keeping Trump from running - but unless they found him innocent they will be overturned in a higher court - it was the DAband the judge that picked what they chose to incite him for because they set it so there was no jury - he wasn’t allowed a jury trial - Braag another Soros bought DA and an openly biased judge took a jury verdict of innocent on all charges in the Carol case - threw the verdict out and entered his own opinionated verdict - did it occur to you that all these charges came to be because a trump was ahead - they shopped areas to try Trump picking heavily Democratic locations and set trial dates attempting to stop him from campaigning- suck it up buttercup get use to Trumps becoming the next president

The only problem with your logic is that it is illegal to overvalue your assets to gain a better deal from the banks. Ill gotten gains can be seized by the government. Trump is a serial criminal and is having his day in court.
