When I moved here, our police chief was nicknamed Barney Fife, and the joke was did the mayor let him have even one bullet. We also had a school for delinquent boys. They would sneak out of school, and he would ride them around in the police car before taking them back to school. I doubt that these boys grew up hating cops.
