As a very gentle statement, we do not do politics on this forum.
I would encourage members to participate in Ranger's forum; however, refraining from doing so on this forum.
Thank you for your attention to how this forum has been and, hopefully, will continue to be non political.
If I may I would like to add agreement to AuntiE's post.
There is no doubt that these are uncertain times not just in America but the world. All of us have very strong opinions and concerns about the welfare and safety of our freedoms.
At the beginning of this page we decided to make it a prayer page and a page where we could share testimonies, prayer needs, jokes, and fun times. It would seem that we have strayed from our intended purpose.
Please don't get me wrong, we do need to pray for our country and our leaders. However, we can't pray and condemn at the same time.
Remember, God is all knowing, He is always, always, always supportive of what is right, good, and according to His will.
Let us remember we are not pushovers by " Just Praying." We are speaking to Almighty God who is in control. Please don't take this the wrong way. If you will notice, while we were praying and keeping the page for its intended use, we were growing a membership role and in number of pages. We have a thread on the opp that has grown to over 900 pages with people just saying one or two silly words.
We are attempting to do Business for God and we have stayed at 500 pages for a long long time. Numbers don't mean a whole lot, but sometimes they do deliver a mesage. God Bless America.

Please do not misunderstand my post, it was a prayer, lol. I just said it in the traditional, "Lord Have Mercy!" lol. Did not mean to bring politics into this great site. No. I'm just asking the Lord, for Mercy! Now I say God help us all.

Ranger, The post was not just aimed at you. I think we all have let ourselves stray in our subject matter.

I know you all dislike having to pray without knowing all the minuate. I have been asked that prayers be sent for support of a family who lost their husband/father. The man had unresolved issues leading to his passing. If you would offer your, always, supportive prayers for his family, I would appreciate it.
I would tell you the person asking will greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
Father,
We stand in agreement with AuntiE's request for this family. We need not know the details as you are the God of all knowledge. Father, we do pray that you will keep this family covered with your peace and compassion. May they know that you are not only the beginning of all things but you are also the end of all things.
Father, there are so many who are beginning to experience hurt, loss, and fear. May they be reached with the hope and healing power of your love, mercy, and grace. Lord, open doors of opportunity, equip us as your children to be your ambassadors here as we wait for your return.
Please Father, bless this family according to your perfect will.
I ask these things in the Name of Jesus Amen.

PRAYER FOR APRIL1, 2015 Sacrifices
When I woke up yesterday morning my arthritis was particularly painful and my fingers wouldn't bend. Even two warm wax treatments didn't help. I was wandering around the house feeling sorry for myself when SWMBO told me to stop acting like a grumpy old man, just get on with the day, and COPE WITH IT. She reminded me of all the sacrifices everyone makes on a daily basis just to do what needs to be done.
Think of the ultimate sacrifice God made by giving His prime creation free will. He gave us a set of rules to live by, but allowed us to decide not to obey them. God knew that we would sin, and He wanted us with Him for all eternity. From the beginning He planned to sacrifice His only begotten Son, to save those who believed in Him so we could be with Our Father throughout eternity. This Sunday we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, His rebirth from the grave. God always knew what Jesus would have to endure toward that end- to sacrifice Himself for US. All the things we should do to live the life he directs are minute in comparison, yet we cannot even do those without complaining. Following God's law should be a joyful concept, yet we often look on it as a major burden.
Almighty God- we thank Thee for Thy blessings and the gifts you have bestowed upon us. We celebrate the Resurrection of Thy Son , who was sacrificed for our eternal life. We humbly ask for forgiveness for our sins and our unwillingness to sacrifice some of our thoughts and time toward glorifying Thy Name. This we ask in Jesus name. AMEN.
