I'll wait to make judgement. With just the House they could do little and what they did do the news hardly reported, the rest stopped at Reid's desk. Obama is a liberal, could careless what others think and this will a two year battle.

Boehner is nothing more than a closet democrat. Spineless. This man has proven this over and over again. He sure wasn’t re-elected to the house from his state to cave to the democrats.

Politico reported that “more punishment is likely to come for others that crossed Boehner.”

In his remarks shortly after the v**e, Boehner emphasized the need to reduce government spending and debt, saying future generations would have opportunities only if lawmakers worked to break free of the national debt.

"Our government has built up too much debt. Our economy is not producing enough jobs," Boehner said. "These are not separate problems.

This is yet again, Boehner talking out both sides of his face.
If he is so concerned about the debt, why then did he v**e to increase it more?
Boehner is more concerned with his power than he is with the American peoples needs. And this is despicable.

The American people v**ed overwhelmingly to end this over spending Government. And what Boehner has done, is spit right in the face of all, who with there v**e, wanted change. I suspect we will see a vast number of conservative republicans leave the party all together. I have all ready done so. I v**e independent. In keeping with this idea of dumping the republican party, might I suggest a new name for a new party.

The “American Conservative Party”
(( ACP ))

The new party would be focused on the principles of the Constitution.

And as part of its main platform, would seek to set in place term limits for all of congress, senate, and judges.
Including the Supreme Court.
Also to remove the IRS and go to a flat tax or graduated tax system.

I would think all TP members would get behind this new party, as well as
A great deal of republicans that want nothing more to do with there republican party.

Should be an interesting new year.

This is the hammer that the RNC uses to keep everyone in line:

WRECKAGE IN WAKE OF BUNGLED HOUSE C**P
WashEx: “Republican leaders on Tuesday infuriated conservatives by meting out punishment to a group of far-right GOP lawmakers who tried to oust House Speaker John Boehner. Hours after 24 Republicans v**ed against Boehner, GOP leaders removed two members from a key committee. By late Tuesday, Reps. Daniel Webster and Richard Nugent, both of Florida, were stripped from the powerful House Rules Committee, which governs the legislative process, including amendments and changes to bills before they reach the House floor for debate. Webster was one of three candidates who announced they were running against Boehner…But GOP lawmakers told the Examiner that others could feel repercussions, including Rep. Scott Garrett, R-N.J., who could lose his chairmanship of a Financial Services subcommittee.”

Well we watched as Harry stop any bill he wanted so that problem is solved, now it's Obama's turn to block everything, will the people decide it's time for democrats to go?

At what time did Boehner have control? He tried to work with democrats, that failed so maybe a new game plan is in order?

For what its worth I'll add my 2 cents~~Although right now I am furious with these do nothing wimps..Second strike against them, although the first took place before the new kids on block actually got seated..If this is anything like what we can expect the next 2 years, there is going to be hell to pay for it 2016....

But anyway~
There was no serious campaign for an alternative choice.... Thats' a fact.... They had to start sooner than the one week Gohmert put into it... Others launched less than a few days before made it unrealistic and doomed..... They needed much more time to gain support and traction and serious commitment for consideration in swaying from the "known mouth piece".... It feels like what we used to call "lip-service." They took a huge risk and lost much..The lost chairmanships and power...
We needed better planning if we are serious in our intent to change it... Even if they forced a second v**e they would have lost that and the result would have been the same....
I hope that next time around, we can start months or a year earlier so we can whip up v**es and support... That's the only way this would have/could have worked. ...
Now~~There are other ways to fight the fight that Conservatives lost.... We can and will gather steam for our cause within the confines of what we have as leadership. Boehner is only one man. He has only one v**e. I don't believe he can or will become Harry Reid. I do know that he has held some v**es up, but even the chair-losing representatives have phones and with time on their side before a v**e, they can generate support for any cause and to force any v**e. If they can't, they did not belong as leaders anyway....
I have faith in the fact that we have so much majority in the House that we can over-ride Vetoes. I think the Senate, with 33 senators up for ree******n in 2016 who understand the 2014 e******n far better than the sulker in the White-House does, can be influenced to over-ride the vetoes. I want to fight that fight now.....We NEED to fight that fight now.....
I am actually hopeful. Boehner did send 300+ bills that we Conservatives supported to the Senate. I see no reason to hang my head just yet....Discouraged, yes, but not giving up yet either.... I gained back a lot of hope that I had lost when we so soundly defeated liberals last e******n. I truly empathize with you guys, but I am not giving up on my new-found hope just yet... And I will never give up on our ability to save our Country form the "within".....NO sir, never!!

Continuing,I'll also say I'm not so optimistic about the GOP establishment right now... There isn't a Conservative among them. Least of all Boehner..Don't trust him as far as I can see him...

He's in the pocket of the Chamber of Commerce, as is most of the establishment and democrat leadership. They could give a rat's rear end about Main Street.....

I'll go so far as to say when the debate over amending the part of CROmnibus happens regarding Obama's illegal i******s decree, Boehner, McConnell, and most of the establishment GOP waiver and don't do what is necessary to help Main Street... They have too many butts to kiss.!!!

As far as over riding vetoes, that's a big hurdle, imo. Can't do it without the Senate and McConnell has to much to loose personally if he doesn't pull a Reid, which the selfish twit is not above doing...McConnell another I do not trust one bit!!! He's sold out the GOP too many times for personal gain to believe he'll change his ways now...But again, am waiting to see where they go fora bit~~

The next two years will not be pretty. There are going to be a lot of TEAs/grassroots/Conservatives who shell out a lot of money to crush the establishment and get incumbents out of office in '16. The Freshmen who v**ed for Boehner after saying they'd oppose him while running will probably take the worst beating and be one and done...Well deserved it will be if they do not stand for what they preached when running..To not do so will keep them running, but from us, We the People now..Running right out that door..........

Then the RNC has too much power and "We the People" need to take it away from them, assure that they are not making our decisions for us. Who are they to tell us who and how to run our government? They work for us - without our contributions they would cease to exist. Let's let Reince Preibus etal know (by phone, by fax, etc.) that they'd better have our input before making decisions, or we will do one of two things, (1) hurt in the pocketbook, or (2) create a new third party, or both.

Over two years ago I dropped
The republican party. That’s a bid deal. For I have v**ed most of my adult life supporting many republicans, as well a sending money to help the cause so to speak.

No longer will I ever do that. The fools that infect this party are all self serving, and as far as I can tell, want nothing more than to garner power and money. I have taken my blinders off. And I suggest all do the same. The republicans have lost there party to the greedy bottom feeding scum that shout
( I am conservative ). No there not, and to hell with them.

The saying is “ go along to get along “ and “ you must play the game to get something done “.

NO you don’t, and this is no game.
My suggestion for all of them would be, if they think this is a game, go play in a sand box.

As I have stated before. We need to form a new Party.
One that will encompass the tea party and all of the republicans and democrats that are totally fed up with the bull crap that is being served up to the American people.

As I said before, The (ACP)
The American Conservative
