Name dropper. I used to own a German car myself. A '68 minivan.

It is twelve years old and still under 100,000 miles. Because of the age, it is not name dropping. Further, it is not a Mercedes or BMW.

I have a standard greeting. I can be a clown occasionally.

Insert airline pilot voice here:

Welcome aboard our Plaza. Be aware there can be times of turbulence. You must provide your own seat belt and wh**ever medications may be needed for such turbulence.

Majiklady, I think AuntiE's greeting sums it up beautifully. Especially about the turbulence! Another wise commentor put it very well, saying that it's better to get a little mad at each other than surrender to a "who cares" attitude. I sometimes disagree sharply with some of the opinions expressed here, but everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I see you're in the great state of Tennessee, where some of my own family settled. I'm not far away from you, as my home is the brave and beautiful city of Atlanta.

I offer my own warm welcome to our site, and I also thank you for your service to our great nation.

I'm jealous of both of you, just the same!

Because of the strong paink**lers I have to take, I don't drive anymore. I take the subway to get around, unless I'm with a kind and helpful friend.

My family has had and continues to have people who have had to give up the privilege of driving. It is a loss of freedom for you to be able conduct your life on your time and terms. I am sorry I am not close to your home. I would pick you up and take you for a speedy spin. My mother-in-law use to kiddingly say, "Do I want to know how much the ticket will cost if they catch us?"

How very kind you are, AuntiE! And thank you for a much-needed laugh; it couldn't have come at a better time.

Your good wishes also go a long way toward cancelling out some of the abuse I occasionally receive from certain other commentors on this site. Thank you for that.

Auntie: you are correct it is "P.S.", i was trying to see how long I could get away with it. I knew I could count on you to catch it.

By the way, I apparently made someone spit coffee on their keyboard, with a post..... They require assistance. Somehow I feel Im going to be experiencing a reprimand

P.S.
If so be nice

Hello my name is Tammy.I am a friendly outgoing person.
I have always v**ed Demorcrat.I am also afraid of the
direction this country is headed in.Who bright idea was
it for the Country to be divided?Everday I wish that Americans
could have the American dream, instead of probably most
wondering if they are going to have a roof over their heads.
Congress needs to put Politics aside and think about the people.
You know the saying Profits before people.

Hello tammy. I am one of the featured loudmouths on this site, made even more disagreeable because I do my homework before I start typing. I say this because I believe that even the people I disagree with on this site, and about these issues, are preferable to the apathy you find in many places. I would rather someone be disagreeable than apathetic. We are in this situation because the average American can tell you all about "American Idol," and has no idea how his/her elected officials v**ed last week. In many cases they don't even know who these officials are. They will be the first to blame a government that exists because of their ignorance.
