Daisy Red Ryder BB gun. Both of my kids learned with them, and each grandkid does, and will do the same.

My home defense gun is a Weatherby PA-459 12 gauge pump.

I've got plenty, but I as well really dig the .22's, and .22 mags.

Folks could argue all day about calibers, and such. I won't argue any of it. I'll just state my preference.
For a hunting rifle, and what I hunt, the .25-06 is the one. Hit a hog behind the ear, and it'll drop like a bag of wet cement.
There's my two cents for now.
Let's call it a dime due to inflation.

First rifle M40, second Remington 300 mag, first pistol Desert Eagle 50, second S&W or Ruger 44 mag. I wish I could have a BAR and/or a Thompson. I have my reasons.

Do you have a favorite firearm?
Or a favorite caliber?
Which do you prefer, Rifle, shotgun or handgun?

My collection goes from .17 cal. to .50 BMG.
But the older I get the more I like my .22's.
I can shoot all day and still have my shoulder and hearing intact and have enough money left over to afford an adult beverage when I come off the range.

My favorite side-arm is my Kel-Tec PMR30 Cheap, Light and holds 30 rounds of 22 Magnum bullets and comes with an extra magazine.

Put a binary trigger on your AR15 or on your Ruger 10/22 an you will have your Thompson. Franklin arms sells them. It has a 3 position safety and for every trigger pull it fires two rounds. As fast as an full auto.

Somewhat close. A binary trigger fires on the pull of the trigger and fires on the release of the trigger. = One round for each movement of the trigger finger. This meets the BATFE definition of legal. Unless they decide that they are law makers and forget their job is enforcement. Like they have illegally done with pistol braces and bump stocks. Another federal agency that needs to be abolished! They do not even enforce their #4473 laws...

I have an M24 SWS, the Army's version of the M40. More accuracy than I can muster these days.

Yes, when I said Thompson I meant a Thompson SMG, .45 auto with a 30 round clip or a drum. I fired on long ago and it was great. I know you have to have some kind of special collectors license to own one.

Nope just buy it from a dealer and pay a one time $200.00 tax. The same as buying a silencer.

Our armories cover the same ground, .17 to .50 BMG.

Hands down favorite is a 1911 in .45ACP

I have several firearms ranging from .17 to .50. My go to rifle is my .300 win mag. I reload rounds from 110 grain to 220 grain. I shot a coyote with a 110 grain HP and it made a hole almost the size of a soccer ball in the other side of him. My carry gun is a Glock 23C .40 S&W and I love it. For the past 11 years I've been going shooting at least two times a month practicing tactical shooting, but I recently moved an hour and a half away. I've got to find a place closer to shoot now.

LOL!! I gave up BB gun fighting when I got hit on the bridge of my nose!🤣 I peeked up from behind my dirt bike, and saw the BB coming at me. It was too late, and I was hit, and bleeding.
