I never saw that quote from JFK but he counted Barry Goldwater as one of his best friends from his days in the Senate. They were frequent lunch partners. He also greatly respected other contemporary conservatives & history, unlike OPP's progressives.
His early v****g record in both houses of Congress was so conservative that Eleanor Roosevelt tried to block his p**********l nomination by the Liberal Party of New York in 1960, a backing that might have cost him New York State. ceiling. It's that if government doesn't provide it, it won't be provided. Nancy Pelosi used the same tactic. It's a lie.
What is never discussed by them is that wh**ever the government provides will b about three times what it should cost. It's not surprising that Rinaldi would use it also.
