Although there is real value in understanding why christians are getting such a bum rap...

and for clarity, it's not all christians, just the extreme end that is the h**ers and bigots, you know, the ones that are not even close to being christians even though they believe they are.

Your good friends here on the left frequently post pictures and text bashing Christ. Frequently ! You are hinting that they are only going after what you say are the bad Christians. You are seriously deluded. You say you are a Christian, yet you pal around with scum bags who even bash you !

The other way to handle this is to post pro christian topics so as to be able to talk about what christians are supposed to be versus the ones we are talking about that are too filled with hatred to actually be christians.

Pro-Christian topics include being opposed to a******n and sexual perversions; always supporting the sacred life God continues to create and the beauty of a loving faithful marriage including the faithful monogamous sexual relations between a male husband and female wife. Lest we ever forget, there is the ever present grace of a loving God so that when we do sin, which we will, then being sorrowful for our sin we turn to seek His forgiveness and absolution He is always faithful to forgive us. But, we do have to ask.

Shameful! Our Jesus Christ is Jewish or was when he came down to earth to save us from our sins. There’s some good everywhere . Let’s look for it everyday and pray for it at night.

There are two people that I can think of right off the bat who proclaim they are Christians here on OPP, yet are living lives that are obviously against the very basic of God's laws. Both of them support the sins of a******n and homosexuality and sexual perversions.

I think that when Jesus came to earth, he wiped out many demons that were possessing people, and that those demons have been slowly but surely returning to prominence in today's society as more and more Christians fall away from God. And I think people who are trying to follow Jesus and be true Christians know what I'm talking about. There are very clear signs that this is happening, in my opinion.

I don't know how much or how long God will tolerate this d*****t behavior. It could be today, or it could be in a thousand or so years, but one thing I am very sure of is that He won't put up with it forever!!

We have the advantage of knowing how this war ends! You'd think these wannabe Christians would know that and act according to the way God told us to. Right and wrong are not difficult concepts to understand. These lost souls try to make those concepts difficult, but their arguments that sin is okay in some "circumstances" fall flat every time, even though they won't admit it.

Emily, I've never been one that dwelt on the signs of the end times, every generation thought it was coming to them. I've moved off dead center and more to the right on the end time predictions. What concerns me are things like the recent revelation that 50% of Americans no longer believe in God, it's higher in other countries, the predicted return of Sodom & Gomorrah, it's here and worse that the first time, the decline of traditional marriage and family and finally the premeditated murders of the most innocent of all humanity. It's time for all faithful Christians to pray, to actually shout to the heavens "Yes! Come Lord Jesus, Come."

LA, his post is meaningless because he does not know the difference. Anyone who h**es and attacks sinners is not a Christian. Christians reject the SIN......not the sinner. It's as simple as that. You shall know them by their fruit.

Balance is always necessary: We don't invite "unrepentant sinners" into our congregations in the name of love. They flaunt their sin amongst the faithful and bring shame into the Body of Christ.

I Corinthians 5:11 NKJV

But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person.

I agree, always, with the Word of God. My point was that we do not H**E them....it wasn't all that long ago we WERE them....in my case, 50 short years back. Even when we are required to limit our association with someone who is unrepentantly engaging in sin, we still should pray for them. love them, and seek ways to help them. As I tend to look at it, we are ALWAYS eager to toss them a life float and help pull them out of the water.....but it is foolish to jump into the water with them.

What if the sinner keeps on sinning? Do we continue to love them even though they live with sin every day and plan to until they die?

When a friend in our neighborhood I really cared for told me he was going to begin living in a sexual relationship with another man, I had to decide what to do about keeping a friendship with someone who had chosen to live with sin every day of his life! I know we are told to love the sinner, and he said if I was going to love him, but h**e his sin, I should just ignore the sin and focus on my love for him. But I can't just ignore the sin part of his life. He told me that this is the way he is, and he will be "this way" until he dies.

What I decided to do was lessen the friendship to almost nothing, and pray for him to find his way out of his sinful lifestyle every day, which I am doing. That's the best I can come up with for this....

Actually Jesus told us that when a person has fallen as far as the L***q community and a******n advocates have into sin, it is almost impossible for them to be saved and that prayer is not enough, it takes both prayer and fasting. How many Christians are willing to give up meals and participate in lengthy deep noetic prayer for those indulging in unrepentant sin? Tough question.

Actually. Emily, Jesus told us that when a person has fallen as far into sin as the L***q community and a******n advocates have, it is almost impossible for them to be saved and that prayer is not enough; it takes both prayer and fasting.
