There is no such thing as a black Jew. Jews are descendents of Abraham. In other words, if you're not of Hebrew descent, you can't be a Jew.

We old people know that but conversion works for everybody else who converts so why couldn't Sammy have done that.

I will never forget the episode of All in he Family where he planted a kiss on Archie's cheek. Just think a black Jew kissing Archie on the cheek. Not something Archie would want.

I believe it's only the reformed Jews who accept them. The Jews are Gods chosen people. It's a racial identity, not a lifestyle or religious practice. And the Bible speaks of Jews who are not Jews in the book of Revelation. This may refer to non Hebrews claiming to be Jews as well as actual Jews who have rejected Christ. At least that's my understanding of it.

The word descendant is correct, except you misspelled the word, or typo error? S/b descendant, instead of descendent.

I've been doing some research and have seen many different claims about who, or who is not a Jew. So I'll just leave it in Gods hands. All I know for sure is that Jesus is my Lord and Savior, and I'll be seeing Him someday. That's the only thing that really matters to me.
