so, a lot of "homeless" don't want to house and educate for reintegration. How do I know, well on Saturdays for almost a year, my partner and I taught homeless how to save themselves and others from overdose. During the training, we offered temp to long term shelter. Here are some of the responses: can I use there, are they going to tell me I can't have my dope, are there going to be rules, what if my girlfriend/boyfriend wants to stay over, do they allow alcohol, do I have to get a job, will they make me take my meds, what do I have to do, ect.

Who wants to be a productive member of society when they can set around taking drugs and drinking wine until they pass out and crawl into their tent.

The problem is increasing. I don’t know what solution if any will be looked back on one hundred years hence as having worked.

It is a problem for normal society. If they are camped in your backyard or neighbourhood it is a problem.

I want your honest opinion. What would you do if a few homeless camped on your property, wouldn't leave, and the cops wouldn't evict them because they have more rights than YOU ?
