Now under this stupid president people who have bad credit or no credit can buy a house with low mortgage payment.. But people like my sister and her husband who worked very hard all their lives to make sure they have good or great credit will now be punished with higher mortgage payments... For me, it's an upside down world.. Some of you, here on OPP, think everybody deserve housing... Its NOT true!!.. If you can't afford mortgage, you have NO right to buy a house.. House is NOT a right, it's privilege.. We are getting back to 1917's where people who were so called poor(Bolshevics) would take things they did not deserve from people who were well of ( because they worked for what they got!!)... You work hard all your life, you deserve to have your house... Biden does NOT deserve to be President .....

We watched what happened to the housing market in 2008 with irresponsible people obtaining mortgages, they couldn't afford. I remember seeing a woman being interviewed on TV who suffered the crash and whining about not being able to afford her house, standing in front of her Lexus and dripping in jewelry. No, I don't think people with bad credit should buy houses at mine or your sister's exspense.

I'm certainly not rich, just frugal, saved enough for a down payment, built up my credit, applied for an FHA loan and qualified.

I agree! That was part of the problem with people walkingnn by on their mortgage! Nina loans ! 100% financing and ficos in the 500’s ! I had to put a lot of money down and have a decent score both houses

Keep working on it! I’ve worked with programs that helped people get their score up and rented to buy! It was a great program to help people! 3 families t***sitioned into nice homes! They worked hard to get their scores up! Don’t give up another housing bust may be on its way! 10 year cycles and abshirty president and crappy demonrat gov in cally

I'm actually on medical disability since 2016......My last credit score was 690... Not a great score, but not horrible either..

I agree with you that financially challenged people should not be able to buy a house until they repair their finances and can afford the mortgage. To me, that is a conditional right.

Why can't they put a policy in place for a rent to own so it covers both sides at a fair rate to help people get into homes. If you can't pay it reverts back to the owner. Then it's not as big a risk to either side.

Here's an idea - buy what you can afford and WORK you way up - just as tens of millions of others have done.
