And as far as settling disputes, having a gun on your hip is similar having liquid courage only guns are more consequential then fists.

Children shot and get shot a lot, one I read of today, because guns are so normalized they get left about.

This is one of the stupidest posts I've seen. The gun laws in Washington DC are some of the most restrictive in the nation. The only people allowed to have guns are the unprosecuted criminals. If Joe Lunchbox was allowed a gun in said lunchbox, he probably would have used it on the criminal.

Several years ago when Florida adopted concealed carry everyone (well democrats at least) predicted "blood in the streets" which never happened. What did happen was a significant drop in crime.

Your word for a significant drop in crime? Florida is one of the better southern states at 23 nation wide in this ranking.

As more and more people get armed gun deaths will not decrease and more children will be shot by siblings due to increase in coffee table availablity of guns.

No background checks, no carry permits. Why do we need driver licenses? Sovereign citizens are on the increase.
