Yes Democrats are also responsible for letting it get out of hand.

Tribalism is what is fuelling the succession movement.

I disagree that it should be called tribalism. What is fueling it, IMO, is the recognition that all Washington, under the Democratic Socialists, wants to do is stomp on states rights & impose its version of The Workers Paradise on the entire country and eliminate criticism. And frankly, if you don't see it that way, you are part of the problem.

Secession is the only check remaining on the entire problem. Ninety five percent of Washington, D.C. and Ottawa, need to be eliminated for freedom to flourish.

Whose quest for power? Overwhelmingly, it's the progressives. In fact, the agenda laid out in Manifesto by the ultimate progressive, Karl Marx is about nothing but power. It is not imaginary. And it's today's progressives who want to shut up the opponents. I hold that t***h to be self-evident.

Easy to blame others. Republicans are just as aggressive, their desire to control the lives of others is being exercised in the red states effectively.

What is tribal about anything I wrote? Congratulations on your ability to muddy the waters with irrelevancy. This thread started with Texan secession.

Yes, we are teetering on edge of default but those debts are hardly the sole responsibility of the GOP. The Democratic socialists have at least as much culpability.

Since social security/medicare/medicaid is the bulk of the federal budget (~50%) and are democratic programs, I'd say the democrat socialists bear a very large culpability for the federal debt. Before certain people get all bent out of shape the popularity and/or need of the above programs is an entirely separate issue relative to their contribution to the debt.

Yep & those programs should all be evaluated as to their constitutionality.
