Thought of the day!~ Question: Even though We The People have a need/right to know.. Should our intelligence agencies or congress/senate have Live hearings on such matters?

My opinion is NO!..Oddly, I'm sure some would say, coming from me.

However, If WE The People know, so do our enemies, it would be naive to think otherwise!

But Curious as to your answers! :)

Depends on the intelligence. If it’s about the origins of C***d, absolutely we should know. If a public briefing puts assets in danger know way. Don’t have to worry about intelligence in the Biden administration anyway.

Agree . The subject matter matters. But t***sparency is a good thing. What I would like is when Congress debates an issue if the senators or representatives would say OK constituents how do you feel about this issue and let us respond before v****g on it. In this information age, correspondence is almost instant and it's supposed to be WE THE PEOPLE running the country anyhow.

I second both responses. In a Representative Democracy, the public needs to be aware and receive the correct information in order to make the right choices. Example, the C****-** v*****e. How many fewer people would have chosen to be vaxed if they had been told the t***h about the risks and lack of effectiveness?

Publishing the name of our intelligence officials or positioning of military forces is not something that the public needs to know.

Representative democracy is a form of government in which the people elect officials to create laws and policy on their behalf. Nearly 60 percent of the world's countries employ a form of government based on representative democracy, including the U.S. (a democratic republic), the UK (a constitutional monarchy), and France (a unitary state).

A constitutional democratic republic is a type of government based on the principles of a constitution in which officials elected by the people represent the people in the legislative and governing processes.

But your point is well taken!

I think the later best describes how our government was intended to operate.

Our Intelligence Community has gone rogue, it is out of control and off its tracks.

The IC hide their crimes behind a screen of "national security", and deny any oversight.

The IC refuses to divulge their "methods and sources", because if the American Public knew just what those

"methods and sources" are, we'd hang them from the nearest lamp pole.

Fully half of what the IC "knows" is false, the rest our enemies already know.

The IC acts as a "Secret Police", and has become a threat to our form of government.

Government of the Government, by the Government, and for the Government, must END!

We know it wasn't Oswald.
JFK was shot from the front as the back of his skull was blown away and there was a hole in the front windshield.
All this is hidden...

The Question should be: Who could have k**led JFK, and GOTTEN AWAY WITH IT?

That narrows down the field, considerably.

IMO: Our very own National Security Council.

I've been thinking along the same lines. I'd like to see the Republican p**********l nominee put out a list and ask for comments then make it his/her campaign.
