Hmmm, it is a cemetery. I do not think I am eligible for a place. It is certainly gracious of you to want to bury me. :hunf:

We will need your birthdate in order for pr********n of a beautiful tombstone...not to be used for decades, yet, of course. It is always best to be prepared for such things. Mine and the Sgt. Major's services were already taken care of by us years ago. It is best you send us that info.

We will keep mum about it.

Hello, numbskull. It is a military cemetery. I am not eligible for intermittent, no matter my age. :D :-P

Well, we wouldn't want you to be consigned to a wood pile or a landfill. Just looking out for your best interests. Our hearts are in the right place.

UncleE will have my BFF to assist with my wishes. I know he and ProgenyE will not want to deal with such. Interestingly enough, my Cousin, who I adores, will not discuss such either. It appears I may have to haunt people to have it done as I wish. :-( :( :|

Auntie, I was a member of the 3rd infantry, Olde Guard and I spent many hours placing f**gs in front of the Arlington tombstones. It seems my boots were a perfect 12 inches long and that got me chosen for f**g duty quite often. (You put your boot heel against the stone and placed the f**g in front of the toe).

If you can ever say a cemetery is beautiful, the sight of all the headstones at Arlington, on the hills, with wreaths at each stone, is beautiful.

I know I am quite late posting this. Time is short before the laying.

And, not just from fear of repercussion.

Rjoeholl, have you ever seen the movie 'Garden of Stone'? It is about the Olde Guard, and is well worth watching. One of my favorite movies about the VietNam era. Take the time, if you haven't already.

James Caan, James Earl Jones, Angelica Huston, and a slew of actors who later became famous star in this gem.

Of all the sites we have visited in San Diego, Rosecrans is one we did not see.

Our first visit, I did the San Diego Zoo on a broken ankle with a ten year old. The people were so kind to me. All four visits have been wonderful. HAWAII is still number one on my list!

when I lived in El Centro I drove 120 miles each way 12 times in 7 years to visit the zoo I have now been living in San Diego for 30 years and have been to the zoo 3 times two of those were to take visitors

Would that be for an intermittment (intermittent) internment? What would you be stopping for before the final internment, a bit of refreshment i.e. ice water?
