Who We Are

Our mission, Remember, Honor, Teach, is carried out in part by coordinating wreath laying ceremonies a specified Saturday in December at Arlington, as well as veteransÂ’ cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states, ceremonies at sea, and 24 national cemeteries on foreign soil.

GET THE FACTS MAKE A DIFFERENCE SUPPORT US

I expect our Veterans to participate and would hope others would as well!

It would be appropriate for Thanksgiving, Yom Kippur and Christmas regardless of one's faith.

If you can ever say a cemetery is beautiful, the sight of all the headstones at Arlington, on the hills, with wreaths at each stone, is beautiful.

I know I am quite late posting this. Time is short before the laying.

Having never visited Arlington, though my son has, I can appreciate its beauty. I can say the same for Rosecrans National Cemetery here in beautiful San Diego.

Of all the sites we have visited in San Diego, Rosecrans is one we did not see.

Our first visit, I did the San Diego Zoo on a broken ankle with a ten year old. The people were so kind to me. All four visits have been wonderful. HAWAII is still number one on my list!

I was struck by the solemn beauty of both National Cemeteries in my visits...most recently, Rosecrans with my dear friend and Senior NCO, PoppaGringo...aka, 'Salty'. He and I were both mesmerized by the endless rows of sacrifice by our Veterans, and quite moved.

'Wreaths Across America'....

It was reminiscent of solemn times I shared with my Dad. I was proud to be there with one I admire and respect so much.

Hmmm, it is a cemetery. I do not think I am eligible for a place. It is certainly gracious of you to want to bury me. :hunf:
