Democrats Denying Reality

Keeping with our theme of Democrats denying reality, Democrat mayors of big cities plagued with crime waves have figured out what’s really the cause of all those crimes. No, it’s not that they slashed police budgets and stopped arresting or jailing criminals.

In Seattle, city officials are suing Kia and Hyundai for building cars that are too easy to steal.

And Chicago’s mayor Lori Lightfoot has the solution for street food vendors who are being robbed blind: just don’t carry any cash.

I think I could suggest some more effective ways of fighting crime than blaming the victims or suing the people who make the stuff that’s getting stolen, like maybe electing some Republicans for the first time in decades. That probably won’t happen, but at least the good news is that a recent poll shows Lightfoot is in fourth place with 11% support in the Democratic primary.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/losing-ground-lori-lightfoot-poll-shows-chicago-mayor-in-fourth-place-in-ree******n-bid/ar-AA16wmMj

The fact that so many media outlets are bemoaning the likely loss of the city’s first black lesbian mayor after only one term tells you just how far off kilter their priorities are. How about electing mayors who check the “qualified for office” identity box for a change?

Electing Democrats to run a city is municipal suicide.

Insanity at work on the left. Enforce the laws, people need to suffer real consequences for breaking laws and stop with the victim blaming. Next they're be blaming parents when their child is abducted from their room at night-they'll say the parent should have shackle the kid to the building, built a fortress and stood guard with a feather (no guns allowed)!!!

ENFORCE the laws, no more get out of jail free cards, reinstate bail for ALL people's, arm every non-criminal (non-violent criminal) American. Problem solved!

Why do you think more laws are the answer?

Consider this novel approach - enforce the laws already in place.

How about we train all citizens on weapons usage and safety. Allow all American's, unless restricted for cause, to carry one small weapon at all times, and have one large hand gun for open carry situations, and one shot gun and one semi-automatic rifle were they deem it necessary for self protection from criminals and self protection from out of control governments. All purchased at a discount at yearly training sessions. Training on handling weapons and using weapons starts at no later then Freshman in High School. Including competitive competitions.

The only way a weapon can be removed is through a Judicial process that includes mentally unstable, mentally incompetent or convicted of a felony using a weapon of any kind.

The laws can not be changed except by a v**e of at least 75% of the eligible v**es.

Logically Right

I actually agree with you. We all should v**e for the most qualified for office regardless of political party. (in your own personal opinion) I v**e for the person not the Party. If the GOP has a candidate that I am confident in I will v**e accordingly.

I was trained in small arms and rifle when in service. I don't hunt by personal choice and I don't like the idea of everybody must own firearms. it should be one's choice.

That's not the DEMOCRATIC way.
They select based on color and sexual preference.
Look at Buttigig for one.
Look at the Supreme court pick who couldn't define a woman.
The Democratic political party is a joke.

Not All Democrats think like this. Some of us think that who ever is best qualified for the post should be hired regardless of race, color or sexual orientation. NOT ALL Liberals follow the Party Line.
