Just remember, everyone who uses this library is a squatter, so PLEASE, put the seat down after you're finished...

Reading!

Look at the long lines in the picture all ready forming, almost like Disney Land.

In the back, they also have a petting zoo and, you can show the love to even the b****sheep!

In AA they teach you to "work an honest program. I have a couple early AA books in my library, they make interesting reading. For instance, if you're following the steps of the program, you never try telling someone else how to work their program. You just tell your own story at the meeting, and then sit down and shut up.

But not you. You accuse others of h**e, when you're not accusing of r****m, and preach your personal view of The Only True Religion to all of us, and get all hostile when anyone refutes you. You argue with all of us.

I think going to AA is doing you no good at all because you obviously aren't working the Steps. Getting sober and staying that way requires honesty.

Are you working an honest program?

I must respectfully disagree. We are a Christian nation founded by almost all Christians. Of course liberals do not want you to know this but is fact just the same. Contrary to what liberals tell you about a number of our founding fathers who were not Christians , about 6 or 7 they name, they actually were Christians. If you really want to know the T***H, Google David Barton. A well known and respected historian who has done extensive research on our nation's history and in depth study of our founding fathers.
I'm glad you are a member of AA. I too have studied many old AA text books and the history of AA. You may or may not know that the twelve principles and the twelve steps originate from the Bible. Another interesting fact is at the beginning the original members met in each others homes and studied the Bible. They especially loved to study and discuss the book of James. There was no doubt in their minds the higher power was the God of the Bible, not a door knob. Not that it is a requirement, but many members eventually come to the conclusion that the higher power is God and move from the Big Book to the Big Big Book. I have met many AA members who had never attended church or had been absent from church for many years. As they continued to grow spiritually they returned to church and most call themselves Christians. Not that it is a requirement. Many view AA as a stepping stone on their journey. This was the case for me. I did not attend church for 26 years even though I had been raised a preachers kid. Just something to ponder.

Now see here... This is how I deal with all of that. Have you ever herd(sp) of "prosciutto d'agnello"? In essence, it is salt cured sheep and, the younger the better.

"You really have to like lamb though, the curing process intensifies the flavor, so if you're not a lamb lover, you won't like this probably."

Now, if you only have an old sheep laying around and the salt becomes tasteless, I have a fix for that too. It is a recipe I found in my grandpappy's Bible.

"You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men. "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden;

- Matthew 5:13-14

I take an old, tasteless sheep and treat it with Woo-light, so it can be of some use to all mankind. It takes time but, you can get that irritating itch out of your sheep if it's washed right the first time.

I bet you didn't know that I was not only a good cook, I do laundry too?

You're a good soul linda, hope you all have a great time enjoying what you've prepared for the big day.

Holidays are not easy when you have had such a loss, my prayers are with all of you.

I'm going to go practice my tolerance sk**ls so I can be ready for Christmas.

Then, please allow me to start the Christmas season~~~
IT's beginning to look a lot like music~~
In this instance the title thread is appropriate~~
Life as it is or should be....

I have purchased this sententious thread with pithiness and élan. It is now the Merry Christmas, Thank God above Mary was totally pro-life or we'd all be in a world of hurt and, not just sin thread.

So all references to the Christ or any baby really, whether from 2,013 years ago or today, is most appropriate and welcome!

Listen to this, WOW!

- Caitlin Jane- Unborn

http://youtu.be/oleNbSmZptc

I am unborn. I cannot speak when I am afraid, you can feel a silent cry.
My eyes have not yet seen the colors of this world, but what you do to me shows me death or life.

For your choice is all I have. Your voice my only chance. Please keep me.

I am alive, my heart is beating. Innocent life, small inside I hide.
I need you all the time. Someday I'll grow up, just because of you, who cared enough to love.

For your choice is all I have. Your voice my only chance. Please keep me.

My life here is at your mercy, don't you see.
I am unborn, my entire life ahead of me. I am your baby.
The world awaits my cry and breath, I long to be held in your arms mommy.
God's depth of love for you is everlasting. In the dark, or in the light, He'll never leave.

Though I may be little, unnoticed, please don't let me stay unnoticed for too long.
God makes no mistakes. Both you and I are wonderfully, fearfully made.

For your choice is all I have. Your voice my only chance. Please keep me.
Your choice is all I have. Your voice my only chance. Please keep me.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

Psalm 139:14

Amen!

With all due respect PG, the topic started by rumi was just that, if Admin didn't redesignate it as such, then blame them.

"All violence is thoroughly anathema to the kingdom of God--ALL VIOLENCE!"

Okay?

Admin re-designated it from Chitchat to Main.
