WOW.... Thank you! Animals connect with kids, it is a blessing from above. My Duckie, when she came we rescued the horse at about the same time. When Duckie could not talk to us, she talked to that horse. I think it did both a world of good. Both still have some trust issues, but both are doing well!!

I am happy for both you and Duckie.

Thank you Sue. Great verse. And well received. I am working on it, but believe me I have a long way to go. I don't know if I will ever be able to accomplish it in this lifetime. Sanctification is a long slow process for me it seems.

It's reading things like that, that make me so glad that I'm perfect just the way I am.

Popeye's my hero, you know. Popeye was always mumbling mumbles of wisdom, and the wisest thing he ever mumbled was "I yam what I yam, and that's all I yam."

We are what we are, and that's all we are. We can try to become better persons as we wend our way through life, sometimes we succeed, sometimes we slip and fall on the cow pies. But at the very end of it, as the last breath escapes our lips, we still yam what we yam.

Zen Buddhists seek to find enlightenment and know Buddha mind. If they succeed, they don't become better persons. They just become enlightened. They've seen the ineffable.

It doesn't matter what mental heights or spiritual goals we attain. Regardless, we're never any better than what we basically are, and we yam what we yam, always.

There's nothing to grasp. We can't see any goal as long as we're grasping at the vision of it. Better to let go.

"Or into a coma": interesting. You end up responding to almost all my threads at usual great lengths and often. There is presently 25 pages of responses to my thread. Is this Zombieland? Coma sleepwalking by how many?

Saying "ho-hum" or adding to the conversations on the points presented are up to you. When it suits, you will go on and on with responses, but when encouraged to deprecate me (not that you need it), you will rush to the front. You generally re-create what I said with a highly negative and judgmental slant then argue against your well-designed straw-man. This is a great political strategy. Seriously!

It is not what you write or start, it is the people responding to each other that makes the threads so long. For example, in this thread how many comments have you added? Total of eight or nine? Has not the conversations been between a few people and at that there are pages on pages that has nothing to do with the topic, but flirting. So, as for your individual contributions.....yes, it is zombiland! You are consistent, you either damn Jews, preach love (which is contradictory to damming) or telling another sad sad tale about someone you love dying or feeling sorry for yourself. Begs the question..... do you know anyone that is still alive??? Or if you do approach political, you are defending Muslims!!

So, yawn....wake me when one of the people posts that has something worthwhile to say. If not for 4 or 5 contributor.....well, this would have gone to the Topic graveyard to keep a few of my topics company.

Good point. I am a Christian but do not believe in religion. I especially do not believe in denominations. I attend a non denominational church. Religion is man's intervention. Man is fallible. Religion is practicing rites and rituals. I believe in God, Jesus and God's inspired Word. I don't care about mans opinions. I care about what God says because He is the authority.

   Well put~~and true..Secular denomination is just that..Each having their own interpretation to Gods word..Most of it as the "conceive it to be vs the realty of what is truly meant..God gave only 10 commandments to live by..Albeit, the hardest, but only 10 and from that everything has been attached to justify the churches existence to some degree. For me the church is the moral reinforcer for what my heart, spirit and soul know of HE above..Nothing else matters...And certainly not justifying it any one else~~

As it is with me. Big time! It's so hard to remember that others are always watching. Praise God for His grace! :) Where would we be without Him?!

No. I am harmless. I am not the insulting kind of person, I was actually pulling OG's leg. And OPP is not what it once was. It is now more of a chat room than a political site to discuss politics. The posters have also changed, at one time there were informed, intelligent, and aware posters that knew subjects and could write.

Yes, I did have a avatar that had a inappropriate or as pointed out to me suggestive shot of my legs. It was brought to my attention and I quickly removed it. I did not want to offend you or anyone by that pix... It is not part of my nature to be an exhibitionist or post suggestive material. Sorry again for offending you.
No. I am harmless. I am not the insulting kind ... (show quote)

I wasn't offended, I just wanted to make clear what was being said..Like I said, I thought you may have joking around and then as the comments continued, just wasn't sure..

And for the record, I saw nothing offensive about your pictures..To me it symbolized sitting on the beach enjoying and relaxing..Saw nothing offensive about it at all..You have pretty legs, is that so wrong?? If you felt it was appropriate then that's all that matters..If someone else looked at it in a vulgarity, then it was their dirty mind that thought it, not what your intent was when you posted..Stay true to yourself..You answer only to you and the other "hypocrites" that attack you because you are you aren't worth your time anyway...As is evident by just reading this thread...

Anyway, Thank You for the clarity and I say if you like it,, put it back up..I sure did..It brought serenity and calming, at least in my eyes...

Now, one other question, if I may..Seems gringo is offended we have "shot him down'....May we share him??LOLOLOLOL//J/k with you..
