But you were telling me months ago how great Chinese students are when I told you they were sub-par here in the U.S. at graduate schools such as Stanford. The University's stance is to take their tuition money and pass them. Professors complain about the c***ting they do here. But can't do anything to stop it. Frankly, I don't know how anyone can stand to teach these days. I guess it is worthwhile when you encounter a few students who shine above all others. I don't envy your position or job. It has to be tough to not feel defeated. Hopefully, it will get better with new students after all this C***d nonsense has passed. I commend you for maintaining standards, nevertheless.

So do the students have recourse to retake the class or take the final exam again and not be saddled with a failing grade?
