Since you're apparently going to hold my feet to the fire, JR, I went back and reviewed some of his past posts. Along with the examples you gave and the ones I found on my own, it appears that I should not have offered positive statements about a poster without doing more research. My limited exposure to his posts have not revealed any that were indecent. I don't think I said he was a great guy, simply that my past dialogue with him has been decent as far as language is concerned and I have not read, prior to today, any that I would object to on the basis of name calling. We have had some knock-down d**g-out conversations but he has never called me anything untoward, as far as my old-age memory can recall. None the less, I wouldn't classify my previous statement at false - possibly uninformed but not false. I promise that in the future I will be more careful about whom I say nice things about. BTW, I'm glad you're on top of keeping things on the straight and narrow on OPP.
