You are lucky! We have thought of moving, but it's just not doable, so now that I am mostly retired I'm going to be a thorn in the side of the lefty lunatics who have run Illinois into the ground for TOO LONG. Only 3 or 4 out of 300+ counties in Illinois v**e blue, but sadly Cook county contains Chicago and other densely populated suburbs, so basically dominates the state. Although, between the new "Safe-T law" that ends cash bail and most protections for everyone not a criminal, and horrendous "progressive" school policies, I'm hoping enough people pull their heads out to v**e red. We'll see. Either way, I feel strongly about a******n, particularly late term, and education, and know a lot of people. Also fairly good at public speaking. So we'll see.

It's a d********g state of affairs when you have to re-teach/or teach in the first place, (by focusing on forcing social change versus the basics of math/reading/science/other core subjects our students are falling behind academically.) I think it's hard for a lot of Americans to admit how bad things have become. But whenever you dismiss/ignore your concerns, that's when the left tries to slip these anti-American policies in. The left knows it's a lot harder to end a social policy than it is to start one...even a failing one. If the failing left-wing policy t***sfer more power to the state/away from the individual...the left will fight tooth/nail to enshrine it/make it ever-lasting
