How do you objectively look at this, and if under objective criteria you find that perhaps the country you live in has flaws that would cause it to be ranked well under the top, does it mean you don't love the country you live in because you are willing to point out flaws?

To me, when you love a person or thing, part of keeping something good is working on flaws, recognizing them so as to fix them and make them better. The person who subscribes to unconditional love, looking the other way on obvious flaws that need to be sorted out and fixed, especially to a degree that they become much worse because people refuse to acknowledge them let alone discuss them, contributes to a situation where things get far away from greatness...

and saying some aspect of something is starting to suck does not mean you don't love it.

Objectively speaking would you consider things like healthcare?

The US ranks somewhere under the 50% point on healthcare among the top 100 nations, over 50 smaller nations provide better healthcare than us...

The only thing we excel at is having the highest cost of healthcare in the world, and we have tens of millions of people who have no healthcare at all, so while we pay the most per person tens of millions aren't covered at all,
...drug prices have gotten cost prohibitive even for drugs that cost next to nothing to make
...hospitals operate on a model that inflates simple care in ways that make no sense
...hospital and insurance administrators make ludicrous money
...the lack of healthcare puts us at a lower life expectancy by years than dozens of other countries
...we have states with less healthcare that statistically prove people live fewer years on average

Is a nation really that great that can't figure out how to have the best healthcare in the world? We certainly pay thousands more per person than any other nation to get that.
