If Pence had not insisted on staying, and/or any of the legislators that were in hiding, had been whisked away from the Capitol, that would have been the end of our Democracy as we know it. Our Democracy held by the skin of its teeth that day, but efforts to undermine our e******ns are underway both Red and Swing states under the guise of "reform." It isn't that we bought ANYTHING Trump said before he became President. We liked the fact that he was a successful business man. We believed (and still do) that politicians and lawyers make bad, corrupt presidents. We liked the campaign promises he made. But mostly, a r****ded dog catcher would have been preferable to Hillary. And so Trump was elected.
He then proceeded to KEEP his promises as much as he could. He brought America out of a limpid, weak 'recovery', returned us to a strong military, and secured the border. Many other things we approved of. So we v**ed for him AGAIN in 2020.
Our REPUBLIC was never in any danger. Not on J6 or any other time. The reforms done by red states are to secure f**r e******ns and make fraud as hard as it can be. EVERY citizen over 18 has the right to v**e and can do so with little or no inconvenience.

If the National Archives wanted the documents, they should have made arrangements with the GSA and Trump before they packed them up and put them on the truck. Don't ya think? They waited over a year until they decided that Trump needed to return documents to the National Archive.

There is no proof that Trump did not personal pack classified docs. GSA staff would not have been party to his theft. The National Archives has been trying to recover the files for a year and a half.
