If Putin thinks Ukraine will ever be a friend to Russia, he’s insane. Unless Putin puts Ukraine under permanent military occupation, Ukraine will join the EU. Meanwhile Russia’s economy has tanked. Thousands of Ukrainian civilians are dead, cities in rubble, and Russia’s ruble is all but worthless. Was it all worth it? NATO has never been an aggressor, but a safeguard against Russian aggression.

In the first quarter the CSI 300 Index lost just under 15 % and the Shenzen Component Index lost 18 %. World Commodity price increases are hitting Chinese consumer goods companies in the wallet.
China's real estate market is in the same shape the American real estate market was in 2009. China is also in a pissing match with their trading partner Australia. None of this bodes well for China's ability to carry the economy of it's weaker partner Russia in the next 6 months.
