Group prayer or group religious observances belong in places of worship (such as churches, synagogues, mosques, religious pagodas, and temples) (or, of course, sometimes in private homes), and maybe _only_ in such places.
Why?

10,000 Reasons Live in Times Square.

September 26, 2020, 25,000 Christians on the National Mall celebrating The Return and Franklin Graham's Prayer March.

Gee Whiz. Evangelist Reverend Frank Graham has those religious rallies all over the county and all over the world, people attend on their own volition.

When there are world disasters, the Mormon Church with its survival packages ships them out by plane, arriving before the Red Cross and FEMA. Obviously, these Christians are dangerous, very dangerous.

Not just the Mormon Church, practically every Christian church has established charities like Samaritan's Purse, Lutheran World Relief and Children’s Hunger Relief Fund, all of which have rescue, medical and food supply teams ready to rock and roll.

I just saw where a Muslim religious figure was posting on social media about having prayers to Allah at school sports events...

That is what the supreme court just said is perfectly acceptable, unless you for some reason believe that religious freedoms only apply to christians?

Senseless blather

The coach did not call for "group prayer" !!!

The coach prayed after the game silently by himself with no coercion upon other teammates.

Get the story straight before you post.

Actually this is the rhetoric and lies perpetrated even by Gorsuch...

Yes he did call for group prayers, videos show that.

Oh, how scandalous! Did they say, "you owe us nothing, just pass it on"?

Let's look further. Watch Reagan's famous speech, "A Time For Choosing" exposing a little problem with the cost of Government Overhead.
A Time for Choosing Speech, October 27, 1964
https://www.reaganlibrary.gov/reagans/ronald-reagan/time-choosing-speech-october-27-1964

Think back to the Great Depressions and how it drove a wedge between rich and poor and destroyed people's optimism as Roosevelt d**gged it on for over a decade with his National Industrial Recovery Act.

Where, outside of Ron Paul, did we hear "Audit the Federal Reserve Bank" to expose the Marxist government centralized bank that robs its customers?

But these Satanic clubs cannot be taught during public school, only permissible as after school activities, like the Boy Scouts? Curious, one of the founding fathers, Thomas Paine was an agnostic, very concerned about religious freedom, and he too, was later persecuted when he began to question the existence of God and how God operated within structured religion or through individual worship. (It was rumored in the press that "he sleeps with cats!") Surely, after these horrific wars of the 20th Century, many people asked how God could allow such suffering. This questioning is normal.

When it comes to Woodguru, his concern seems to be that religion preaches abstinence, a cultural demand to save society from extinction, (life before penicillin), and the fact that fidelity saves lovers from dying of broken hearts.

So here we are on OPP with an open debate. Thought crime is on the agenda?

No, we are not talking by himself, we are talking group huddles and prayers...praise be to Allah

You hit the nail on the head, religion is about wh**ever you do you do it privately with yourself...

Not group huddles and prayers, what are those who do not believe in god supposed to do when a coach calls for group prayers?

Any player has the freedom to NOT participate!!!

It's not one person praying, that is fine, it's the group huddle thing that infringes on other's rights not to participate

And you would find it highly offensive of a muslim coach called the players over for a praise be to allah...wouldn't you?

Then step out of the huddle!!!

He thinks his opinions, and everything he hears, and agrees with are facts. The real one's don't matter.
And, you're right. He's been absolutely destroyed on this thread.
He'll just give up, and do it again without ever admitting that he could possibly be wrong.

Why not? If he does not interfere with the students or the game officials?
Isn't it amazing that the left claims that D**g Q***n book reading, CRT, and L***Q presentations to children are not influencing them, but a coach praying for his boys on the field is somehow subliminally proselytizing them against their will?
