I had some neat toy guns as a kid. Had some good BB gun fights too and no one ever put someone's eye out, you just aim below the waist. That cut out all that 'you missed me' stuff. Because most 7 to 10-year-olds, will say ouch, when hit.

I had a Daisy BB gun as a 9 year old and shot black birds out of poplar trees and my retriever cat went and got them.
It was great!
They can be ‘dead’ on at 25 feet or less.
