Indeed I am. Each Sabbath when we do our remembrances of those who can not be with us, never fails one of the kids will raise a glass to Dad. All my kids are married now, with the exception of my last daughter -- I adopted her last winter and she is reminding me of the teenage years....the good, the bad, and worry times. Anyway, our children seem to be using the same methods that was used for them in guiding their development.

How about you? Children? Grandchildren?

Defently good parenting is a key, you were so fortunate to have a man who made the most of what he recieved at home------the proof of the pudding is what the kids think of him. You were all blessed!!!

We have a son 47, two daughters 44 and 42. All married, 5 grand kids and 1 great grand son. They have been good kids, never any trouble to speak of, thank God. I like your day of rememberance, are you Jewish? We are Catholic.

What a lovely family. You too are blessed. Truly a blessing when you can see a third generation!

There are no easy answers, there are no feel good beliefs. It takes a phenomenal effort each moment not to be led astray. Every moment!. Many settle into bunkers, Many settle into what plays in our political forums. Both are wrong.

"Oh...woe as me....it is the world that has come down upon me....casting darkness and folly into my life..."....Even the raven left from knocking on my door.....my crayons are lost, no marble left in the bag.....comic books rendered non readable and I'm out of CoCo.....life, as I knew it, is lost and gone.".......

Ginny,

You seem to have a great collection of trolls, and all of them look hungry. Don't lets any of us feed them and maybe they will succumb to starvation, and become comatose.

I think that is called "Legend,"
