Thanks to Common Core literature, fourth graders in some schools are learning that white v**ers, and even America itself, are r****t, reports Young Conservatives. Really, though, this shouldn’t surprise anyone. Time and time again we see how anyone who dares criticize Barack Obama’s leadership is publicly branded as a r****t or a bigot.

It would be one thing if the kids were reading a strictly informational biography about Barack Obama; that would be just fine. It’s great for them to learn about their presidents, past and current. But they’re not; they’re reading a blatantly liberal narrative thinly veiled as a biography. Parents across America are furious that their children are being force fed a political agenda.

These schoolkids are in their formative years. What hope do they have of their becoming truly educated citizens and developing their own, informed opinions if the government takes the reins right from the get-go?

Political agendas – no matter whose – need to stay out of the classroom. It is unfair to the children whose education such teachings compromise and to the parents who send their children to public school in the hopes that they will learn to think independently.

This president is outstanding - and will be in history - as the FIRST non-white in that office. That's truly exceptional as it is teaching children what this country would like to believe as far as the e******y of ALL men (and women). Evidently7 you consider this as an affront. Many of President Obama's successes have been stated on this forum but either you don't believe them (or are unwilling to research them) or you prefer to give credit to something else. Just so long as Obama doesn't get the credit. Please do, just once, access WH.gov and find out the reality. Over half the country does not have any objection to homosexuality, gay marriage or wh**ever. It is only narrow-minded people like you who think the "entire" structure is being upset. You are considering only your structure.

Change is difficult, especially if you've been inundated with set ideas. But you must be able to see that the world, including the U.S. is changing. If you don't keep up with it, you are left by the wayside. The young people are seeing much more clearly than those old farts who will avoid change as much as possible. The old have built a dam but the fluidity of the young will, of necessity, pull it apart for their own survival.

Ya gotta be with it, man! The only thing definite in life is change.
